Impactful!
Really great book to work together on with other teachers. By incorporating this book with creating project ideas, you will come away with many ways to give students the opportunities to make more decisions. As teachers take on more and more responsibilities, this book explains why students need those opportunities for decision making.

A practical book for classroom teachers
This book is by two authors who understand the realities of classroom teaching. It artfully combines enough theory to explain the importance of a classroom phenomenon, and then it focuses on a variety of strategies to address that need. It is concise and clear. It is written by teachers for teachers.

Basic information most teachers already do.
It is geared toward Middle School and up. If you think these ideas will work in a K-3, you haven't spent enough time teaching.

Great ideas to change your class.
Tucker and Novak are gifted at writing a book that allows a reader to see the possibilities in her classroom. They give clear options and ideas that could be implemented as soon as needed. An amazing book to alter the way things are done in the classroom.
