LUMIIDigita 600W Ballast - Black

Works very well. It runs cool enough to touch and leave your hand on quite comfortably. It also runs virtually silently, meaning no annoying buzz or humming.Works with either 400w or 600w HID lights with two settings for each; standard or boost - the boost setting being the full power and standard being the dimmed setting. It is not recommended that you use either of the 600w settings on a 400w bulb. Mine has been running a 400w metal halide HID bulb for 16 hours a day, for three months now, without any issues, and I'm about to swap it out for a 600w High Pressure Sodium HID bulb (as my chillies are about to flower) and I envisage no problems at all.The main body has fixing holes so that you can mount it to a solid surface such as a wall, with screws or hooks, if you wish.... I have mine just sat on a shelf without any fixings. The product itself appears to be solidly built, feels reassuringly heavy, and looks great. It comes with a fitted mains plug and the plug socket for your HID bulb.Over all, a great product that I'm happy to recommend and give five stars to.

Love this! Runs really cool compared to the 600w Maxibight compact I upgraded from. But then this is a digital ballast. I also bought a 600w Lumii d/s? bulb but not too happy with that so changed back to my Sunmaster 600w d/s. This ballast runs so cool you can even touch it while it's on ( I like to stroke it 'cos I love it so much LOL). Not yet tried the 400w setting as I only have MH HID's in that range, and on a 12/12 at the mo. BTW I read somewhere you shouldn't use the 400w/600w boost setting with MH bulbs. Bottom line I recommend Lumii ballast. GO GROW!!!!Steve. T or Delta9er LOL!

Awesome balast so quiet and cool. Seen some bad reviews for this product but I have had no problems.Been in continuous use for years now still works fine.Only ever used on 600w setting. Never used the boost or lower watt.Very happy with this balast will never go back to magnetic.

the first one has broken down after 8 months of work...replaced by amazon under warranty in 1 week..suite the purpose.hopefully it will work longer this time!

Versatile does exactly as detailed, no hum detected, instant start, Ballast does warm up though, good value. Delivered within 24 hours not the 3 to 5 days suggested, arrived before payment taken from my account. Packaging, although no damage found with the weight and material differentials I believe It could have had some more package filler to prevent components moving.
