Used this iron for the first time today, it's brilliant, I would 100% recommend this iron, it's a good weight, ironed new school shirts so easy, rest of my ironing was the same, cord length is very good, the quality seems great

Have been using this iron for a while now and i think it is spot on. I love the constant steam you can generate and love using the iron on a weekly basis. Still work in an office so it is usually 5 shirts a week and a few t-shirts that I would have worn at the weekend. The cord is long enough and it isnt too heavy. I like the locking mechanism as well. Makes light work of the ironing and would recommend.

This is the best iron ive ever bought. Cuts ironing time in half. I wish I had more ironing to do now as it’s so fun to use, but like I said it cuts ironing time to half.

I’m really impressed with this Morphy Richards Powersteam Elite iron. The non-stick ceramic soleplate honestly makes it feel like the iron is floating over the clothes—no more dragging or snagging. Loving my new iron. I have had 3 steam generator irons which have only lasted 6 months to 2 years! They have been a huge saver on time but didn't last very long. This product is new. However, Morphy Richards have a warranty of 3 years which is reassuring. It irons as good if not better than the steam generator irons I've used before. What I love about this, it has an autodescaler setting which is really simple and only takes 3 minutes. 😊👍🏼 What is also great, there is no dried residue stick to the plate which I have experienced right from early usage of the other steam generators. So overall, a lot less faff of cleaning the plate and manually descaling ❤️. Hallelujah 💪🏼😊

Excellent product would recommend this item

This is the worst piece of electrical equipment I have ever purchased!! After 7 months it had scaled up and was leaking water from the connections between the tank and the machine body. On contacting Morphy Richards I was eventually told that additional descaling might be necessary ,though this is not mentioned in any of their literature, I know because I have read the instruction booklet thoroughly. So much for Self cleaning and Auto Clean. I was extremely disappointed in their customer service and told them that this would appear to be a manufacturing flaw and very misleading documentation to say the least. It would appear they were quite happy for me to complain to Amazon to obtain a refund. Against my better judgement we descaled the iron and religiously made sure we only used De-ionised/Tap water 50/50. May I add at this point that we live in a very soft water area and have absolutely no scale in any equipment in our home. We have never needed to use salt in our dishwasher or use Calgon or similar products in our washing machine. Our taps and other bath/basin hardware is scale free. I believe that Morphy Richards are well aware of this fault and are quite prepared to "Wrong foot " any complaints. Sept 25 This Steam generator has stopped producing any steam whatsoever. Having contacted them again and been told that once again I must provide photos, videos, and confirming documents to prove date of purchase etc, I have decided to cut my losses and buy another make. I just know that they will not honour their obligations to genuine customers. I was sold a PUP and I am calling it a day. BUYER BEWARE!!
