I recently tried the K18 PEPTIDE PREP™ Color-Safe Detox Clarifying Shampoo, and overall, I’m really impressed with how it performed. One of the standout pros is how soft and light my hair felt after using it—like a total reset! It did an amazing job of removing all the product buildup that had been weighing my hair down, which is exactly what I was hoping for from a clarifying shampoo. What surprised me most, though, was that it didn’t leave my hair feeling stripped or dry. My natural oils seemed to stay intact, which is a huge win for a product like this.On the downside, the smell isn’t my favorite. It’s not awful or repulsive by any means, just a little off-putting and not as pleasant as I’d prefer in a shampoo. That said, the results were so good that I can easily overlook the scent.If you’re looking for a clarifying shampoo that cleanses deeply without over-drying, this one’s definitely worth a try—just don’t expect a luxurious fragrance!

I’ve never been one to leave reviews, but I had to for this shampoo. I used to have to wash my hair every day because of how greasy it would get. I’ve tried every shampoo you could imagine and have always had the same problem… until now! I used this shampoo on Friday and today is now Monday and my hair just started getting greasy. Before I would’ve had to wash it by Saturday— this stuff is amazing!At first I thought it was a little pricey, but it’s worth it after seeing the results. Plus it smells good and leaves my hair feeling super clean.The only con I have is that I did notice a little dandruff after the first use, but nothing too crazy.

After just a couple uses, my hair felt softer, stronger, and healthier. It’s lightweight, and I love that it repairs without needing to be rinsed out.Unfortunately, the K18 Peptide Prep Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hair Oil didn’t work for me. They left my hair feeling dry, dull, and lifeless—even after just one use. For the price, I expected better results.Overall, I’ll stick to the Detox Shampoo and Repair Mask, but I won’t be repurchasing the rest.

This shampoo works great and smells good too. Doesn’t dry my hair out at all and it really looks cleaner after using. It is kinda pricey for the amount you get but I only use it about once a week.

I use this once a week as directed to detoxify my hair, wash away all the layers of buildup from other shampoos, conditioners, other products and impurities. It leaves my hair squeaky clean and does NOT dry my hair out, like other clarifying shampoos. Lathers up GREAT, so not much is needed. K18 products are all on the expensive side, but they are so worth it!

Expensive and didn't really notice a difference in my hair texture. Maybe my coarse hair is just genetics and no product will help. I'm not sure, but am tired of spending money trying to find out. It cleans well though.

I wish I ordered a bigger bottle. I definitely love this. I can’t wait to use it on my son’s hair since it’s so linty. It lathers ok. My daughter was distraught at first because it was black lol. Overall will buy again but mix with Dr bronners.

This stuff is great. Super cleansing without being drying, and perfect for those who double wash at the root with each wash. Has helped my hair retention and growth journey.
