So far, so good. Nice little AAA battery operated mp3 player :)
I was after a battery operated mp3 player after my previously one gave up after only 4 months. So far (~2 months on) I've had no problems whatsoever. It's simple and easy to use, both in getting songs onto it and in using it normally. If I had to find a flaw it would be that the 'back' button can be a bit temperamental but it's not so bad to get you frustrated once you learn to click on the far left side of the button and not the right side. The music quality is as good as can be expected and it's durable enough to survive the occasional drop. Are there better mp3 players? For certain, but none that are AAA battery operated (a must for me) and none that are cheaper either. All in all, I would definitely recommend this for people looking for a battery operated mp3 player.

Compact, reliable and quality mp3 player
What can I say other than it's a fantastic little mp3 player. It's basic, but that's exactly what I wanted. No bells and whistles like you get with a smartphone. Another bonus for me is that it's powered by a AAA battery, so no mains or USB connection needed to keep it playing - just buy spare batteries!Plugged into my laptop easily, but I've managed to plug it onto my smartphone via adapter, so transferring files from another device to the mp3 is a doddle!Sound quality is amazing, very sharp. I'm using it for audiobooks at the minute rather than music and it's perfect for my needs. It's compact. The ability to slide in an extra memory card is a brilliant addition, so you can expand its content without running out off storage space.I don't know how long a single battery will last with this player but they're cheap to buy, and I have rechargeable batteries too, so no issues really. Some people have said the buttons are fiddly. I've had no problems with them, but then I'm used to these little devices.I'm a very happy customer.

by some kind of miracle, this seems to actually work.
I've been desperately trying for ages to get an mp3 player that I can just plug into aux socket on my car stereo (that annoyingly doesn't have a USB socket!). And, most importantly, one that has nothing at all to do with bluetooth/mobile phone etc. (as I'm the only sad person in the world who doesn't have smart phone!) Eventually I stumbled upon this thing, which I wasn't expecting to work,(as is usually the case when technology tries to be too clever). But, after a while of trying to suss it out, I've put 300 or so music tracks on the thing itself, and other music on a TF card that inserts into it. And I can alternate between the two folders as i wish, by just pressing the buttons, without having to eject the TF card! I then bought another one to plug into aux socket of a mains powered music player I have, that annoyingly so far, does not have repeat and shuffle ability. But this thing does, so I have solved 2 problems, ie. car stereo with no USB socket, and crap music player with no repeat/shuffle. Beyond my wildest dreams!!! The only one among the hundreds I've seen, where there is no mention of bluetooth! Hallelujah! The only downside for me is that it's very tempremental. Doesn't like one TF/micro sd card and says ''card error''. Put another identical one in, and it plays it happily. The same with certain music tracks. I have a mixture of tracks in MP3 and WMA format, and with both, now and again all you'll get is an unpleasant piercing noise if it doesn't like that particular track. So I've had to make a list of such tracks, remove and replace them, and so far that seems to have done the trick. But overall, having considered this a gamble at £26 each, was very pleased with my purchases. Now have bought 4. I need 2 for different devices, and got another 2 in case they conk out and they stop selling them. My search for a non-Bluetooth/non-Smartphone related mp3 player is over. Hallelujah again !!!!!! Thankyou AGPTEK, whoever you are.

Usually a good product
This is the 4th one of these I have bought . My autistic daughter finds it easy to use. Once they have no memory left will start on another. Unfortunately this one appears to be faulty. The downloaded music is on the player but won’t play and keeps freezing. It’s too late to return because I bought early for my daughters 40th and she only started using it this weekend

Not quite what I expected
The player is very robust and the sound quality of the music is great. But ... the icons on the screen are so tiny and the screen itself so small, you almost need a microscope. But even if you could see what was going on, the accompanying instruction manual is impenetrable. As a result, I discovered more about how it works by simple trial and error. Also, due to the unit's (albeit reassuring) chunkiness, when you plug in the USB to a laptop, you have to prop up the laptop to accommodate the thickness of the player itself. All of this could be forgiven, if it wasn't for the laughably short battery time! So unfortunately, it has to be two stars only.

Solid first impression as a simple little music playing device.
Bought this together with a pack of AAA batteries. Battery life is yet to be tested, but the first impression upon trying out this device has been very good. Quickly figured out the important controls myself, and of course, it was very easy to add songs to it from my laptop because of the USB connection. Going to try this out properly tomorrow on the way to work, already planning to listen to some Slipknot on it lol. I already have a headset ready to use for this so I'm all set.

On off initializing switch very hit or miss to use
The switch to turn this on is very unpredictable, as you have to press and hold in many different areas on it before it switches on. The same applies when switching off, and also when initializing the mode you want. Apart from that it is good sound quality and the battery lasts a reasonable time, but that depends which make of battery you use.

Good
Bought for a friend who has no access to a laptop or computer that would be needed to recharge any other mp3 player. This is perfect as it only needs a AAA battery and after I had loaded songs onto the device she said she was very happy with it.
