Sumex 4410009 Lateral Sunshade, Negro, 50X100 cm

I purchased this not for a car, but to block out intrusive communal lighting shining through a side window that can't be curtained. The shade is very thick - thicker than others that I have used - and therefore did the job very well indeed. I am reasonably optimistic that the shade will also block out the blinding sunshine which intrudes through the same window in the summertime. In my opinion, the shade is too thick to be safely used in a moving motor vehicle as it appears to be too opaque to see through and one needs to see through the rear window. Also, the suckers are, of course, not great (although they equal ones on similar products) so the shade sometimes stays up all night and sometimes comes down, particularly if windy outside; given this, I do imagine that a moving vehicle might shift this off the window, but I don't have any actual experience of that. The shade was delivered in its collapsed state, in a small envelope; this meant that the shade was a bit creased and does remain so, but this is not a real problem. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase as it has fulfilled the purpose for which it was bought. It was very reasonably priced and arrived in good time.

I can't complain about the quality of this product and it certainly did the job of shading our dog on a 6 hour journey in the sun. However, they were too big for my Renault Megane. I was still able to use them but they just didn't sit very well. Had a couple of issues with them sticking but you just need to press really heavily on the suckers. Otherwise did the job.

They block out the sun just fine, but unfortunately they also block out everything else making it pretty much impossible to drive with them in the rear windscreen. Couldn't see a thing behind me on a clear sunny day.

This is an A**** product it gives total shade for our dog who travels in the boot. The only thing that lets it down is that the suction pads are not brilliant. But it has always managed to stay up even if two of the three pads come away. A must have product for the summer.

Good sunshade qualities, leaves four inches either side of rear window oncovered in a Mazda 6. It's quite thick and does block the sun out well but the consequence of that is you can't see out of the rear window very well, you have to drive using your wing mirrors and not rely on the rear view mirror. As other people have mentioned the suction cups aren't great but they do work on mine and have remained stuck on the window, they are no worse than on some other sunshades I've had. I'm not sure if they actually make the inside of the car hotter when it's parked in sunshine, being black so absorbing heat.

There's not much to say about this really, it does a job! The suction pads can be a bit awkward at first if they've become folded in transit, and after a couple of months of use I'm still finding some of the suction pads aren't always stuck to the window but the shade stays on so it's ok. Just put the least folded suction pads at the top of the window, if the bottom ones come loose the shade won't fall down. Part of my problem might be that my back window is small (Fiesta) so the shade isn't fully stretched. This could be putting a bit of pressure on the suction pads. Overall the window shade does a job, my car is cooler with it up, and my baby is a bit more comfortable on car journeys as a result. Oh and the price suits my budget!

Extra protection for my dogs in the back of the car in the sun.....I despair when I see dogs baking through the rear windows of cars, why don't people spend a few pound on one of these? Fits the tailgate nicely and no problems to date with the suckers coming off.

Bought for the boot of the car to protect the dog and the size is great as it covers to whole window. I had read other reviews that said the middle sucker can be a problem because it's folded when it arrives so the suckers isn't flat. I took a chance that the other 2 suckers would be sufficient however, none of them work properly and usually a side one pops off while driving. It happens so often that after less than 2 months I've had to buy new suckers for it so very disappointed.

Très bon article. Les ventouses tiennent bien contrairement à ce que j'ai lu dans des commentaires. Il fait juste s'assurer qu'elles sont bien propres et les humidifier légèrement avant de bien appuyer et s'assurer qu'il n'y a pas d'air entre la ventouse et la vitre. Noircit beaucoup donc le soleil ne passe plus mais on ne voit également plus à travers la vitre, ou très peu, mieux vaut le savoir. Dimensions parfaites pour nissan qashqai 2025.

Gute Sonnenblende die auch wirklich fast blickdicht ist, erschwert das Rückwärtsfahren zwar etwas aber das war vorher klar. Einzig und allein die Saugnäpfe sind der Schwachpunkt, rollen sich nach innen auf, hält trotzdem.

Acquistato - nero, dimensioni 50x100 cm - per il lunotto della mia passat sw mod 2015 (vetri non oscurati ovviamente) e per cercare di riparare il cane dalla calura estiva. Non mi aspettavo molto ma mi sono ricreduto: certo non è un condizionatore e quando fuori il sole picchia e ci sono 40 gradi non si può pretendere più di tanto ma devo dire che svolge più che egregiamente il suo lavoro e filtra MOLTO di più di quello che mi aspettavo evitando di trasformare in un forno il bagagliaio della vettura. Ci sono solo 3 ventose (ne avrei messe 4 o anche 6 in modo da averne due sopra, due sotto e una per lato) per fissare l'oggetto al vetro che inizialmente mi hanno deluso perchè si staccavano spesso, poi si sono "stabilizzate" e anche col caldo torrido non si staccano (o se succede non è una cosa così frequente da gridare allo scandalo....al limite un poco di biadesivo risolve tutto). rapporto qualità prezzo decisamente ottimo e resa inaspettata! La visibilità posteriore non è un problema. Per quanto mi rigurda, consiglio decisamente

das erste Exemplar, das gekommen ist, war aufgrund kaputter Saugnäpfe unbrauchbar. Danach bekam ich dann eines mit funktionierenden Näpfen, warum nicht gleich so? Ansonsten ist das Produkt sowohl als Sicht- als auch als Sonnenschutz zu gebrauchen und deckt meine Heckscheibe (Opel Corsa) fast gänzlich ab. Die seitlichen Sonnenschutze habe ich trotz absolut grenzwertiger Saugnäpfe behalten - ein Fehler? (der Saugnapf liegt nicht mit seiner ganzen Fläche auf, sondern mit einem kleinen Durchmesser, der Rest biegt sich von der Auflagefläche weg - entsprechend wird die Saugleistung sein...)
