It does exactly what it says simple to assemble, and very effective pretty well made, and comes with a bunch of tie wraps,if needed, the only downside is that the holographic coating is starting to peel aready, but that is easily fixed. Ive found that to make this even more effective, is to attach (with gorilla tape) a couple of lenghths (say 8") of old VHS tape draping down, when the bird scarer rotates the tape rattles as well! and of course you get the flashing hologram, when it is caught by the slightest breeze.! seems to works best when the sun is shining (causing the bright reflections), and the wind is making it rotate. Note not all days are sunny AND windy. But its range is limited; three pigeons were still landing on our garden fence which was only about 8 meters away from this rotating scarer. It is mounted on top of a 2.5 metre high tree, so it is clearly visible from anywhere in the garden.

This product does not work. I live in the countryside and I was able to test it against a large number of birds (large and small) that are populating my garden. Unfortunately, it did not scare any type of birds (at least 8 types of birds, small and large, were in my garden who did not show any fear and ignored it). Initially (for a few minutes) some smaller birds were cautious by keeping a safe distance of about 3 metres (but not flying away). The slightest wind breeze makes it spin but the spinning did not scare the birds (only the smaller birds were cautious for the first few minutes but then ignored it when they saw that it does not harm them).Pigeons ignored it straight away. Within 30 minutes, ALL birds were IGNORING it and birds came as close as 1 metre to the product, whilst looking for food in the grass or even playing . I moved it in different positions around my garden, every few hours, but the birds continued to ignore it. The only thing that scared the birds was me appearing in the garden. Nevertheless, I decided to keep it as my children become amused by it (i.e. I am using it as a toy and / or decorative feature) CONCLUSION: this product did not scare any bird (small or large) in my garden. The birds are ignoring it. Moving it around did not help.

Last year we lost all our french plums (Mirabelles) to birds in about 24 hours. One day we enjoy eating them but next day, they are all gone. Not wanting to net the trees as it makes it impossible to pick the fruits and damages the branches, I resorted to these 'evil eyes' as well as the bird repeller ribbon[[ASIN:B000LNBQV8 Bird Repeller Ribbon] . We have had no problem with birds and the interesting thing is that we have less pigeons flying about and waking us up at 4 in the morning and we have seen quite a few visits from buzzards, owls and even sparrow hawks. For the price, definitely worth a trial. The eyes must be moved regularly to be effective - we move them almost daily.

This item is proving to be very effective against wood pidgeons. This price is almost unbelievable as I have seen the identical product in a garden centre priced at £29-99. It is well made, and well designed, with a double prong to stop it waving about in high winds. It was also delivered in double quick time.

To be fair this product probably would be more effective in a larger garden where the wind could really make it move! The product is substantial and well made but not really very effective in my parents garden.

I purchased three of these. They seem to work with crows and herring gulls but pigeons seem too stupid to get scared. The trouble is the build quality is absolute rubbish. After just one week two fell apart and the third is going the same way. And the wind has not been stronger than a breeze. So don’t buy these unless you have a pack of Araldite or similar ready to repair them.

Great item -I really liked this -only downside is I felt the “pole” for mounting it on should have been longer but I’ve resolved tgat by placing the spike it came with inside the pole from an old bird feeder. I wanted this as had a terrible problem with lots of big splidges of pigeon poo on my patio-used with other things & speaking to neighbour whose a bird feeder has virtually eliminated this (she no longer uses bird tables only nuts in cages for small birds) . Would recommend!

Article conforme à la description, facile à poser. Couplé avec le corbeau-épouvantail en plastique, miracle pendant les 3 premiers jours car plus de pigeons ! Puis, malheureusement, ils ont compris la supercherie sur le rebord de ma piscine. Effets de reflets et mouvements que quand vent. Bref, à voir dans le temps. Je recommande tout de même ce produit qui n'est pas cher même s'il semble peu efficace seul !

Avevamo un problema di piccioni sul balcone (lungo circa 12 metri), avevamo tentato con i classici CD appesi ma non funzionavano benissimo. Con due di questi più un po' di nastro rifrangente abbiamo risolto il problema.

Très bien étudié, très efficace à acheter sans hésitation. il serait bien que le prix soit dégressif avec la quantité car pour un grand jardin il en faut plusieurs.

fissato sul tetto di casa, con il vento forte dei giorni scorsi è volato via. il gambo che sostiene la banderuola è diviso in due parti avvitate tra loro per unirlo. Prima di installarlo ho stretto con le pinze la giunzione, nonostante ciò il vento forte dei giorni scorsi è riuscito a svitarlo, la parte della bacchetta superiore è volata via, la parte inferiore fissata con delle fascette è rimasta al suo posto. La banderuola si è rotta: mi sono accorto solo ora che era costituita da due pezzi credo incollati tra loro. Lo sconsiglio per installazione su tetti o luoghi ventosi.
