We used this to seal around the chimney ontop of our pizza oven. It sets brilliantly and stands up to extremely high temperatures. Unfortunately it is only available in black.

The internal glass in the oven fell out just before Christmas. Not wanting to hunt for a new oven and the hassle of getting it delivered and fitted in time to cook the Christmas turkey I bought this.The mastic is runnier than normal kitchen/bathroom sealants. We applied a generous bead of it around the door and we did get quite a bit in the glass - masking this off first would have helped. We left it to go off for approx 24hrs. We were then able to remove the excess from the glass using a flat end cutting knife blade.I put the oven on on a low 50degree setting to start with and very gradually and slowly increased the oven temperature. There was minimal smell as the oven heated up so we periodically opened up the door. I have now cooked the Christmas turkey and the internal glassWorth every penny although we do have loads left

Does Exactly what it says on the tube! - I was pleased with this product, not just because it does what is required of it nicely, as the white version it makes up for a disaster* I had with its black counterpart which looked completely wrong. The white one compared to the fireplace and surrounding areas blends in nicely and creates a nice finish to the fireplace. It was also easy to apply and set fairly quickly too which is always a help. Def recommend.*No fault with the product, - just completely wrong colour. - My mistake.
