Effective device
Worked very efficiently on bath taps encrusted with limescale. Stayed in place throughout.

Great product for taps it fits
The taps that it fits on have come up great and I’ve been really impressed with the results. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit on my bathroom taps as they are large square shaped ones and they are unusual taps. But apart from that it’s been great and the taps I’ve used it on have come up like new, when they were badly limescaled!

Works !
Takes few days to be perfect crystal clean but it does work ! Horray ! Disgusting things are removed. Cost effective and worth trying this for your hygiene if rented flat ! I have tested HG and white wine vinegar combo by two days - not mixing them, different days in a separate way . I have an impression that my organic 🥹 white wine vinegar worked better than HG but it smells really. Only two days patience ! Now I am testing only white wine vinegar way . Anyway this works and you can use it for various areas . 5 stars as per results and costs !You leave it overnight and no efforts required much . Finish off with hard blush. Nor only lime scale but also black or green things of water impurity had been removed. Even the water of river would be safer … seriously I am fighting with water gems . This is one of the first step to get assured for hygiene !

Good in theory but in practice doesn’t work for horizontal taps!!
In theory this product is great, allowing the tap to sit in descaling fluid so it has time to work properly.. in practice, unless your tap has a big downward curve, the end doesn’t actually dip in the fluid - my taps are old fashioned mainly horizontal with a 45 degree tipped end - the fluid leaks out from the bulb of the limey rather than bathing the end of the tap.. so doesn’t work for my taps.. I’ll have to find another method..

Does what it should, but can squirt out chemicals!
This is a practical solution to getting rid of limescale that accumulates on the end of taps. It's like a modified balloon, but tougher, thicker rubber. It fits onto kitchen taps easily and is very stretchy. Bath taps, which are wider, are a little bit more tricky to fit the gadget onto, particularly when filled with limescale remover chemical. I ended up spilling quite a bit as I pulled the gadget into place over the tap. It actually squirted the solution out when I pulled it firmly into position. So watch out for it getting into eyes etc. It was all over my hands and this seemed unavoidable. It is important to have the end of the tap dipped into the limescale remover solution within the gadget, so the gadget needs to be manoeuvred accordingly. It didn't fit too well on my bath tap (see photo), although it did work.I like the way the gadget can be stored on the neck of my limescale remover bottle (again, see my photo), so I won't lose it.In conclusion:Yes, it solves the problem of keeping limescale remover on the places where it needs to work. It's worth buying for that point alone. It is more expensive than I think it should be in terms of materials, but I suppose it's the idea you're paying for.Be careful of spillages and squirting chemicals!

Worked a treat
Used this with white spirit vinegar and it worked on my utility sink tap which was crusted over with lime scale and spraying water in all directions. I did four applications (refills) over two days, scrubbing between each refill, and the tap is now good as new. A brilliant little device.

Some entertainment value
If this fits the majority of taps then my taps are in a minority. I half filled the Limey with white vinegar and struggled to get it over one type of hand basin tap. Each time some of the vinegar spilled out. When, after the umpteenth time of trying, I managed to stretch it enough to get it to stay on, it was in a horizontal position and was practically empty. I tried the other type of hand basin tap and I was able to fit it over the end. However, the tap barely entered the Limey so there was no possibility of immersion. I tried the kitchen tap and managed to fit it on - the bulb now at 45 degrees to the horizontal. A definite improvement, or so I thought although I had no way of knowing if there was any contact with the vinegar. As I was pondering on this the Limey quickly and spontaneously ballooned and shot off the tap, hitting me in the chest and firing vinegar in the opposite direction. This item might work well if your taps have a significantly long downward facing spout but for my taps it definitely doesn't so I will be returning it.Update: I have since returned the item and obtained a full refund. The seller, Heritage Home and Garden, processed the refund promptly, courteously, and without fuss.

Very stretchy so can fit a range of tap shapes.
Used for 2 different tap types. The bidet horizontal nozzle (heavily scaled) was tricky to get sufficient seal and enough descaler on the nozzle, took 3 applications but did the job.Hand wash basin mixer tap - similar to photo attached - descaled. Two applications completely descaled the nozzle.Used citric acid in the Limey. WIll get some squirts of citric solution whilst fitting but easy to wipe with a cloth and rinse hands quickly (or use rubber gloves).
