I have a number of Ecco brand shoes and these entirely meet my expectations - these phorene soles have a particularly comfortable footbed - fit to my usual size

I've only bought Ecco shoes for over 15 years and every pair has fitted like a glove, and don't need wearing in - they last forever. I was attracted to this design by the Phorene construction. It's an odd material - almost a mixture of rubber and silicone and makes for a waterproof shoe with a substantial sole. The cushioning is good and I feel no adverse effects to any amount of walking, despite having knee issues. It's a very comfortable ride. And the elastic laces are a gimmick I've not encountered on any other shoe. These positives would be enough to earn this shoe a five-star rating. However, the design of the tread is such that every journey is accompanied by at least one annoying stop to pick out stones that have become stuck. These shoes were not cheap. They cost me £79.00 four months ago and I wear them on average 15 hours per week. Sadly, after such a short space of time, the material in contact with the heel has worn through to the webbing, and I will have to effect some sort of repair soon, just to prolong the life of this pair. An almost perfect design, but not quite.

Diese Schuhe sind leicht, bequem und sehr praktisch. Außerdem sind sie nicht schmutzempfindlich. Optisch auch gut.

Did not survive one trip. I bought these shoes for my trip to Japan and they broke after a few days of use. The sole got crocked and white loop at the end of brook of after only a few days on the trip. Really disappointed. I have been a fan of Ecco but since then discovered other brands...

Son muy cómodas, tanto por la horma como por los cordones elásticos, que te permiten calzarlas sin complicaciones. La piel es muy original con ese grabado.

This should be a high quality product. The size is correct but it'snot comfortable at all. I feel a lot of pain in my feet because of it. I have another one and I'll send it back as well. I hope Ecco developers work on this because the design is really nice.
