ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition Gaming Graphics Card (PCIe 4.0, 24GB GDDR6X, HDMI 2.1a, DisplayPort 1.4a)

A top of the range GPU that runs absolutely everything I throw at it faultlessly. It's huge and you need a full tower case as a minimum to house it. It is heavy and suggest you support it. There's quite a few cheap supports out there that will do the job. I haven't needed to cool it more than it does itself but it is in a large case with plenty of ventilation and fans. Price wise, it's not for the faint hearted but I thought it was just about worth what I paid for it. The graphics quality is superb at any level.

Intimidating piece of kit needing a bit of thought regarding power supply, cabling and sheer size. First, it’s big you will need a full size case and plenty of room around the pcie slot you’re planning on using. It uses the new power input plug. Fortunately an adapter is supplied but you will need 4 feeds from the power supply. This needs care as there are reports of 4090s being damaged if there are issues with correct plugs and cable routing. I would budget for a beefy power supply, 1500W at a minimum. As for performance, well it’s a 4090RTX. I can run DCS and MSFS at max resolution with all the enhancements and it glides along perfectly. Can’t give an actual fps as my monitor is 4K at 60mhz so I fixed the frame rate at just under 60fps. However there is no stuttering or screen tearing just gorgeousness. If you’re into programming then this card gives you access to the latest CUDA tools in C/C++ and via the free tools from NVidia, Fortran.

Arrived quickly and safely in excellent condition. It's very hefty so I appreciated the support stand/screwdriver it comes with. No issues with installation besides it's heft making positioning a little more difficult. I use Blender3d and raytrace renders on high sample counts all the time and it never struggles. I capped the energy consumption at 80% to protect it and even then it functions perfectly fine. Runs ice cold, I've never seen it exceed 50°C even under stress and being only air cooled. Bear in mind it does require a great deal of power to run.

I installed card correctly fans do not spin and also drivers by nvidia saying it’s 4080 and official asus software saying it’s 4080 so I received a fake card …?

When I ordered the card, I expected to get the normal version of the card and I received the oc edition. Which positively surprised me but unfortunately it was a little disappointing that the gpu clock is only 2715mhz which is a little strange because the old rtx 4080 oc edition had 2830mhz. But that's not important, the important thing is that, again, Asus has done a good job with build quality. My kit is now complete with my i9-13900k, mob gigabyte aorus master z690, corsair 6000mhz 36cl I can enjoy the quality of graphics and speed of performance thanks Asus your faithful admirer

To my delight my biggest upgrade from many previous cards Ive owned arrived next day. My eyes lit up like a beacon of light - amazed by the shear size- yeah "thats what she said?😍" I could barely fit it inside my case. It was snug though - a perfect fit in the end. Perfomance wise - this was a "Ferrari" compared to my "Escort". Racy, upbelievable ,almost life-like graphics and looks stunning with the lighting effect,but also very quiet. I needed this to get the best from my Pico VR headset. It "blew me away" on Project Cars 2 - next will be Flight Simulator-cant wait. This is truly the best Graphics card you can buy to date. If you have the money(its pricey)-just buy one!

My CPU can’t keep up, resulting in bottlenecking. This still plays games with amazing detail and frame rates.
