Fully Encased Waterproof Anti-Bed Bug Mattress Protector - Double (135x190x25cm) Optical White

Wanted this for a new mattress but was concerned it wouldn't fit owing to the mattress depth of 26cms. However, it zipped up with ease and, as, described, enclosed the mattress perfectly. It is made of soft material and the top is of Terry towelING which is both cool and comfortable. I would also add it is very easy to fit and am extremely pleased with my purchase. R.M.

Good quality sheet. Covers the whole mattress. It is slightly loose as the mattress I have is quite thin. Easy to put on and zips all round the side of the mattress. Not tested to see if it's waterproof. It looks like it will be though. It arrived quickly and was well packed. I feel very pleased with my purchase.

Fits standard double ok, maybe not as tight as I thought it would. I am not sure if the end of the zipper is 100% sealed though - a small bed bug could probably get through, so I am sealing with a little square of duct tape or something. Nice quality otherwise.

Unfortunately I have posted my feedback for this product in the wrong item. I had to return mattress cover because there was no mention of bed but protection on the item when it arrived in spite of stating this on the Amozon description. The material was like terry towelling which would be totally ineffective. After returning it (at my expense) the refund was auctioned very quickly.

I bought this for my publicly listed guest room anticipating a string of guests who might inadvertently bring bed bugs with them or spill stuff on the mattress. I can't comment accurately on its waterproofing ability or how bug proof it is because it hasn't been exposed to either, however it does have a polyurethane coating under the top part (therefore should be waterproof) and does fully encase my deep mattress without being tight. The top layer has a thin fleecy finish and the rest is of a white shiny polyester type material with a good zipper at one end. I think bugs would struggle to live there and it doesn't look as though they would get through the material. If there were any bugs they would probably be easy to see on the surface and deal with. I'm confident it offers good protection as I have a wooden bed frame and no other unprotected areas of fabric. I have also put a standard quilted mattress cover on top to give it more protection. I've spent a night on it myself and all guests have commented on how comfortable the bed is. No issue with plastic noises or sweatiness

The zip broke off the first time I zipped it up. The cover is roomy and a bit loose. I am not happy with the quality. For £30 the zip should not have broken like that. I don’t know how to return it because I have already theowb the packaging away

Purchased on behalf of an elderly neighbour who had just had a colostomy and was worried about leaks. After reading reviews I decided this seemed just what they needed, and it was! It fits the double mattress perfectly as the top towelling material is slightly stretchy, and you literally put the mattress inside and zip it up. When in bed you do not get hot from the plastic as it is under the towelling topper. I have also been told it is not noisy plastic! My neighbour is delighted with it and when I asked her she said she would recommend it to other people and is very happy she has got this one herself.
