Top-Tier Surge Protection and Build Quality from a Brand You Can Trust
I’ve been using the Belkin E-Series 6 Plug SurgeStrip Surge Protected Extension Lead (3 m, White) for a few years now, and it’s easily one of the best extension leads I’ve bought in years. You can tell straight away that Belkin put real thought into both safety and design. The build quality feels solid and durable, without the plasticky flex you get from cheaper alternatives. The 3 m cable gives excellent reach for my setup, and all six sockets are well-spaced to fit bulky plugs or adapters without overlap. What really stands out is the surge protection feature. It gives real peace of mind knowing that my PC, monitor, and router are shielded from power spikes—especially during bad weather or when heavy appliances are running. The indicator light clearly shows when the strip is grounded and protected, which is reassuring. I also appreciate that it doesn’t overheat even under full load—a sign of genuine quality wiring. Visually, the white finish looks clean and unobtrusive, perfect for blending into a modern home office or entertainment setup. The plug sits firmly in the wall socket, and the cord thickness feels substantial enough to handle long-term use without fraying or twisting. Overall, this is a dependable, high-quality surge-protected extension lead that’s worth every penny. If you’re tired of flimsy power strips and want something that provides both practical convenience and proper electrical safety, the Belkin E-Series is a smart and reliable choice.

Good quality extension lead at reasonable price
We wanted an extension cable for computer equipment so a surge protector is a necessity these days. We also wanted it quickly and wanted a good quality cable so Amazon seemed the obvious place to go to. As it is a Belkin product we felt it should be good quality. The extension cable arrived quickly. It is true to the illustration on Amazon and is 3 meters in length as specified. It works as described and we have not had any problems with it. It is difficult to know what else to say really – it does what it says it will. It looks neat and tidy and we are totally happy with it having used it for around a month now. So I am happy to recommend it. Compact and handy
I bought three of these surge protectors, two with a 1m cable and one with a 3m cable, for a project which required 14 (low-power) appliances to be plugged in. I was looking for a good quality surge protected power strip with small footprint and mounting holes on the bottom, and this fit the bill. The build quality is quite good and I can imagine these lasting for a long time. I've had other similar products before that felt very flexy, but this is made from quality materials. The cable feels quite stiff as most inexpensive PVC flex does. For most uses I would look for a power strip with switched sockets and indicator lights. This has neither of those. There are mounting holes on the back of the strip. I wanted to hang the strip on the wall so I drilled a couple of holes on the wall, inserted some flat head screws and hung the strip on them. Be aware that the mounting holes are very shallow and a normal pan-head screw wouldn't work. Due to the compact footprint the sockets are fairly close to each other. I had to plug both kettle leads and USB chargers into these, and had to alternate them in order to make them fit in the sockets. The strip is also quite narrow which allows the earthing pin of a plug to be inserted with the plug upside down, bypassing the safety shutters in the socket. This is not a major problem but may potentially make the product a little less child-proof. Overall, this feels like a good product, compact and better built than most leads of a similar design. I'll probably end up buying more of these in the future.

A 6 Way Quality Extension Socket. What's not to like.
It currently scares me just how many things we need to ''Plug In'' these days given the fact when we first moved in to our current home many, many years ago we only really had a Kettle, a Microwave and probably a couple lamps and an alarm clock! But these days with all our must-have gadgets .... I keep running out of sockets to plug anything in! Nightmare. And so ..... liking quality products, especially where electricity is concerned plus the point of over-loading anyone outlet ....... I always buy Belkin products, either Surge ones such as this, basic ones or even their All Singing All Dancing multi media ones. Just one word of caution. All because you turn a Single Socket into a Six Way one does not necessarily mean you can then run six high drain items off it .... [as in ... ''sorry Mr Fireman.. I did not think it a problem running my six 2.5Kw heaters off one extension cable an issue''!!!] ..... So think of how you use your extension sockets and whilst it should not be an issue plugging 6 things in like lights, phone chargers, laptops etc ... just note that many plug-in transformers do get very hot, so try not to place them next to each other and don't do as many do .... stick the socket behind something where there is little or no air flow (or for that matter cover it over with some material to stop it 'sticking out as an eye sore' ) ..... you'll just be asking for trouble and a visit from some burly Fireman/women. Anyway, as for the Belkin E-Series 6 Way/ 6 Plug SurgeStrip Surge Protected Extension Lead - 1 m Cable, White ..... they are great simple little (yer right ... long - sorry) Extensions that do the job and once in use and quietly forgotten about do everything I need both safely and securely. What more could you ask.
