DOWN TO 4 STARS: Paint is waring off after only 6 weeks of normal use, exposing white plastic below. Still love the case as far as usability goes, not a fan of failing paint job. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased this case because my other case (which I also like) has a black front-facing edge, which makes the phone hard to find when it's lying on it's back (all black surfaces facing up). This phone has a colorful front edge that makes it much easier to find when I'm scanning around my space to find my phone and it happens to be face up. The hand-feel of this case is very pleasing to grip, easy to hold on to, and seems more forgivingly padded in terms of more shock-absorbing rubbery material around the edges. IF I needed to view my phone in my hand for a long time (watching a show on the go) I might switch to my other case as it has a finger ring on the back and this one doesn't, but for use in my desk-stand, this one is ideal. Oh, and I should mention that everyone including me loves "galactic" design of the nebulae and stars, so fitting for a Galaxy phone. Strongly recommend if you don't need a finger-ring on the back. PS - I didn't rate durability yet as I just got this case, but it seems very tough.

I am pleasantly surprised by this case. It has heft to it, which is nice, and the rubber bumpered corners make me confident it'll have a lil extra safety oomf should I drop my phone. I LOVE the color. The purples/lilacs are amazing. It was a smidge bent when I got it making it hard to press together but it evened out andnis fine now. Thr fit is snug and it doesnt feel loose at all.

There's nothing I dislike, I like everything about it. I even dropped it a couple of days ago and it hit the tile floor hard and nothing happened to it! I love the pattern and colors. It's a pretty case smooth and strong!

i bought the green marble version since my otterbox got old enough to start crumbling. it's pretty nice, and multi-layered, with an inner silicon case and a harder outer plastic shellthe first thing i noticed is that it's a good deal blurrier and muddier-looking than in the picture. the photos show a really crisp, high-saturation version, but the real thing has blurred edges and overall duller colors printed on the plastic. the silicon is also much closer to a cyan than a true greenit's also weirdly slippery! the plastic is really smooth, which makes it slide around strangely on surfaces like your bed. the frame is also slightly raised above the tactile edges of the galaxy s9, so it can interfere with opening the edge panelstill, overall i'm pretty happy with it, and while it doesn't feel as sturdy as an otterbox, it feels nice and less flimsy than other amazon phone cases i've had

I have a laynard that I wear at home when I do not have pockets: this was a TERRIBLE phone cover for this situation. The tag for hooking to the laynard, that protrudes through the bottom slit (where the charge plug is located) would not allow the case to close fully along the bottom. This caused the case to buckle my screen saver and then I could not type or swipe due to the gap between the saver and the actual touchscreen this cover caused with the laynard tab. MY BAD - but this was a design flaw that no other case I had purchased in the past had. I am going back to my old case style.
