NO WORLD UNLOCKED - ONLY FOR USA
I bought this device for a relative who would use it in Peru, according to its characteristics this item was completely unlocked. Before its purchase, I was looking for information about what kind of unlock had and I found 3 affirmative answers indicating global unlock (including my country).When my relative tried to use it over there this cellphone was locked by its carrier in the U.S. So we contacted Amazon Support, for some information about it and they recommended solving this issue with Apple Support directly or returning it (the phone is in Peru currently).We called Apple and after 45 minutes, they confirmed that the phone was locked by carrier but it could be used in U.S. only.They apologized because couldn't do anything else because it was Amazon's (or its dealer's) responsibility and they would be able to apply that unlock to be used abroad.I am expecting for the phone to return it immediately.I think the information is not complete or incorrect because I was looking for a good reference before its purchase and here we are.UPDATE 1: I've already returned the iphone. I am expecting for my refund.UPDATE 2: The refund was applied. Finally, I had to go to an Apple Store to buy a new one. Currently, it is working very well and I think after this experience, it is recommended to buy a new one directly. You may waste a lot of time in the whole process.

Looked brand new, but malfunctioned
This iphone came out of the box looking brand new. Completely flawless. Worked great in the beginning, but battery did not last as expected, which I could’ve lived with.Then it started freezing up, and would completely delete anything I had been working on, such as emails or texts. Got to the point where it would be connected to wifi, signal strength etc. was excellent, and the phone showed that, but would say it was not connected to wifi, and would act like it was not connected. Very frustrating, since I would be sitting right next to the router, which is connected to an outlet 3 feet away. I returned it.UPDATE 11/25/2023: Amazon received and signed for this return on October 19th, 2023. They keep giving excuses as to when the refund will be issued. Today, they sent me an email in response to my latest call stating due to strange activity on my account, I need to upload a government issued ID, which will take several days for a 3rd party to validate, and then they will decide whether or not to issue the refund!! I am contacting the Federal Trade Commission.
