Installation was straightforward until it came to adjusting the tension. The video made it look too easy. Needs better close ups.

Thought I might need two for this big gate, so installed at the bottom to leave room at the top, but seems not. Does the job nicely on its own. Took me a bit of thinking to make sure I fitted it the right way round, although the instructions helped a bit (as did youtube).I lost the little pry bar quite quickly when it sprung out of the hole as I was tensioning, but I used a drill bit and an adjustable spanner for leverage to get a good tension on the spring. It's quite nerve wracking getting enough tension on the spring and hoping it doesn't slip whilst putting in the small stop-pin, but it is what it is.Note to other reviewers - if the stop pin falls out, you've (a) not tensioned it enough and/or (b) fitted it the wrong way round or (c) both.

Put on my new side gate which it shuts every time.

Had to get something to automatically close my gate. Can adjust tension. Easy to fit.
