Disney Elena of Avalor Light-Up Sceptor

There is a different version of Elena’s scepter and it’s very plastic looking, lights up and makes lots of noise. This is a perfect alternative in my opinion. It’s not actually metal but it looks pretty convincing. So it’s still pretty light for a little one to hold. This makes no noise (hurray!) and when you hit the button for the light it stays on and rotates though the color options. So glad this is the one I ended up purchasing because it was perfect. My daughter used it to light the way Halloween night and was able to store it in the belt of her dress when she wanted a break from holding it.

got a really good deal on this compared to the one at the local costume shop that doesn't even light up. daughter loves it, and the light on it is really bright and pretty coming out of the gem.

My daughter is 7 and wanted this for Christmas. It doesn't give her magical powers like she had hoped but she loves that it lights up. Seems a little cheaply made but she takes care of it.

Pretty cool. Just wish there was an on and off and didn’t have to hold it down to light up. But very nice scepter. Very sturdy.

Button Broke within less than an hour of play. We tried to check the battery connection and the battery door wouldn’t screw back shut. Looks pretty but it’s useless and terrible quality. Very disappointed.

This is one of those items that has a price tag that does not match its quality. My daughter LOVES Elena of Avalor, so we bought this as a birthday present. When it arrived--we were surprised at how flimsy it feels. There is a single button at the base of the handle that clicks the scepter on, and the gem at the top changes multiple colors. There is no option to "lock" on to one color at a time, it just rotates through the colors every few seconds until you turn it off. The long scepter handle is "bendy" and doesn't feel very sturdy. It was disappointing for the adults who spent money on it, but our daughter and her friends have gotten quite a bit of enjoyment out of it.

My daughter loves this toy! I cannot get her to our it down. I also love that it doesn’t make any annoying noises! Just a pleasant light that changes color. It’s very good for her five year old imagination. My son loves it too! He pretends different games with it when it’s his turn to have it!

Perfect for dress up and Halloween. It is a little flimsy, but cant beat the price

My coworkers and I came up with this great idea that our boss needed this septre to with the crown I made them. They have a saying, "Lobby Language", when someone says something inappropriate in our main area. So I purchased this septre, attached some silver streamers to it and it is has a place of honour for all to see. The light isn't very bright, but it does the trick.
