I bought this to support a new shelf in my laundry room reno. I wanted the look of a floating shelf, but I needed the shelf to be sturdy enough to hold up plenty of laundry supplies (including costco sized detergent bottles!). These brackets were just the right thing and they have worked out great so far. I had our contractor install these, and we hung them with the part of the bracket along the wall facing up, mostly (but not entirely) hidden by the shelf itself. This seemed important to note because the brackets weren't exactly 90 degrees square. Installing them this way was necessary because if we'd put the brackets facing down (as pictured in the listing), the shelf would have sloped downward away from the wall. But once we figured out how to arrange these, they worked great! Good value, good looking, and really sturdy product.

Very nice brackets. The paint is sufficiently durable after I slipped off of the screw head a few times. Glad they tossed in a few extra screws per pack because I have some of that super hard old wood when houses were built with quality and I couldn't get through without a little caress. I saw the reviews about the heads breaking off and thankfully none of the screws broke. The brackets are very thick and is a good way to compensate the need for bearing load without that center bracket down the middle like most brackets use. These were easy to mark out hole placement and install as well. I like the white color. Although the brackets are thick, they still can flex a small amount, but I think this could be fixed if the manufacturer would weld a small triangle right down the middle where they did not put screw holes. This would be awesome and greatly strengthen the load bearing. I didn't like the wide hole placement because it won't hit a stud on both holes, but at least the one side can still be anchored if needed in order to add support against the wall. Which is another plus of having the wide base part of the bracket. I recommend these brackets and would get more if needed. If anyone doubts the screws, just pre-drill the holes beforehand. Project completed: new pantry shelving installation.

These are very strong and the finish is a nice matt black. I didn't realize how big of a difference the curved right angle made to the amout of bracket that would show on the wall. I expected my board to completely cover it and give a floating shelf look but you can see a good amount of bracket.

Product is nice and sturdy. I would note that I bought 8" brackets for 10" shelves and after hanging on drywall (using anchors and mounting flush against wall) the edge of the shelf did dip down a bit. Maybe if flipped the brackets the shelf may not have dipped, but not changing now. Otherwise they're serving their purpose.

We ordered a lot of these to hold up eight foot boards to make a big wall for thousands of CDs. They are solid and thick and sturdy. The screws are not super strong, so if you are holding up heavier things and wanting to put the screws into studs, make sure you drill a decent sized hole for the screw before putting it in the wall. I broke off a head of one the screws because I didn't drill a hold big enough for the screw to start with. Overall very pleased with these. Also note that the holes in the brackets are far apart, so if you need to put them into studs, only one side of the bracket is going to be able to go into a stud. The other one will have to go into drywall because they are wider than studs. We used the drywall anchor plastic things for one side of the screws, and then put the other screws into the studs and that worked well. For eight foot boards we used either three or four brackets depending on how solid we felt that the bracket was with the studs. We also used a laser thing and level to make sure we got everything at the right height.

This product delivers in every way. The brackets are heavy duty and well made. They give you a ton of screws and anchors of all shapes and sizes (frankly almost overkill.). The wall anchors I used are strong and easy to install. I got a few to start, and they were so good we ordered several more.

Perfect. Holds alot of weight. Wanted to reinforce some very thick natural wood shelves that were drilled into the wood and then into the wall, these brackets did the job. If you want to be sure it won't fall and perhaps breaks you items, I recommend these brackets.

Gauge of metal is small, not very sturdy, screw gooves not finished for secured sitting of screws.

Unfortunately this item does not carry the weight advertised and started bending. Very disappointing had to go buy normal brackets from a local shop that did not bend.
