We’ve had the same trash can for about 8 years.I began searching for a similar style & found that most of them run over $100, most being around $130Then I found this one for $75, and decided to try it out!It’s even better than my last one! With our previous trash can, we always had to finagle the bag, so it wouldn’t fall. But this trash can size is perfect for our bags!The lid works as it should and when it closes, it definitely holds smells in. lolIt seems sturdy and the stainless looks clean. Hoping this one lasts as long as the last one!

This is a really nice trash can, and you get two of them. I use the little one for the bathroom and the bigger one for diapers. It holds a lot as well, but it is super easy to clean. I definitely think it's worth the price for two trash cans. I use Lysol wipes to clean, and it does the job. Anyone who wants a simple trash can that will do the job and is pretty decent. This is the one. It looks nice clean, too. Although I do have to clean it frequently with having stinky diapers, it works for our family.

Garbage can is nice and sleek looking.PROS: the lid closes on its own, if you open it, and push the lid a little farther, it will stay open. The plastic insert is really nice as it’s removable for cleaning. It’s light weightCONS: The lid dents really easy, stuff builds up on he lid opening mechanism at the top which is really hard to clean

I didn’t realize how wasteful my other trash can was. I had a round, more narrow trash can, that held 13 gal. bags, but because it was so narrow, it didn’t allow me to fill the bags to their capacity. It also had a vent hole that the bags would snag on, causing frustration every time I had to pull a bag out. That can broke thankfully, because I had an excuse to get this one. This one is much wider and allows me to fill my trash bags completely, which is saving me money on bags in the long run. It’s easy to pull the bags out and put them in. The bags fit snuggly on the can, whereas my last one always had lose bunches of bag sticking out. The petal works great so far, and the lid closes softly on it’s own. I bought this one used, so I got a good deal too. It looks nice, and functions well. So far no complaints. I’ll post again if I experience any issues.

I've had this for a week. So I can't speak to how long this will last, but I like it. It can well packed with no damage or scratches. I wasn't sure of the shape since my old can was round. But it seems to fit the space I've used for years very nicely. The old one gave up the ghost after 16 years. I am not sure I can predict if this one will last that long. But for now it seems sturdy. It takes 13 gallon Glad bags which was important to me. It has a nice step for those in the house who go barefoot. And it closes slowly and silently. So no more banging lids. It is all metal inside, with a pull out inner bin. Which was exactly what I was looking for. On the plus side, the 13 gallon bags seem to fit the inner bin tightly so they don't show like they did with my round can.

While looking for a matching set of trash cans, I had some criteria that I was looking to meet. That criteria was, in no particular order..1. Matching stainless steel2. Foot pedals to open the lids3. Cans that actually work as advertisedSo for number one, I received that. I knew I would though because I seen pictures of the cans from the listing. They’re basic looking, but nice as the same time due to the stainless steel.But that’s the only positive thing I can say about these trash cans.For number two, while they do open with a foot pedal, they open too far as to where they don’t fall back down by themselves. I had to place them against a wall so they wouldn’t fully open and therefore, would come back down themselves. While sort of annoying, I could’ve dealt with this as they were going to be placed near a wall regardless, just not necessarily up against the wall.With that said, this next part is the deal breaker. Number three. I only had the trash cans maybe a couple months before the little black plastic piece that lifts the lid open when the foot pedal is pressed, simply just broke off, leaving the foot pedal pointless and non-working. And this is from normal use, not from being abused in any way.I don’t want to touch the lid every time I need to use the trash can, and I’m not going to just leave it open, so now I have to go buy a new set.So my advice is don’t purchase this option unless it’s temporary or barely ever going to be used.And to not have this issue with the next set, I’ll be looking for cans that have a metal hook to open and close the lid. If the hooks on these cans weren’t plastic, maybe all my issues would’ve never been issues to begin with.

I wasn’t expecting much. Pleasantly surprised, this set is pretty awesome for the low price. Doesn’t look cheap at all. The lids lift and shut very smoothly. The metal is definitely not the strongest, I would avoid letting anything heavy hit the outsides or fall on the lids because it would likely dent (but again...look at the price..). The tall one is perfect for fitting in a narrow area, which is exactly what I needed. If you’re tight on space it’s a good one to get. The inner bucket has a metal handle and also a hole at the top for tucking away the excess of a liner bag. Looks very clean.The little one is good too.The bucket inside the doesn’t have that same hole for the trash liner, but it’s fine. It still has the same metal handle for easily pulling the bucket out. It’s very small and cute, it fits perfectly in my tiny bathroom.
