Yamaha Rhino gas gauge use with Moeller Marine Universal sender 4 to 28 inch tank depth and cut to length, Perfect
Searched high and low for a gas gauge for my Yamaha Rhino, under $150.00, none to be found. Can't see the fuel level in the seat tank so decided to cut a hole in the tank and mount a sending unit and this gauge on the dash. Be sure to use a 2 1/16th hole saw, not a Fostner bit, keep the plastic particles out of the tank. If you need to clean, use Duct Tape on a extended grabber tool to suck particles out of the tank. I was very careful and caught the hole piece before I sawed all the way through, then used a sharp knife to finish the cutting of the hole in the tank. Tank is actually quite thick material and accepts wood or metal screws just fine, they don't have to be too tight if you use Permatex BLUE rtv gasket sealer, it is impervious to gas and oils. Be sure to cut and adjust your fuel sending unit arm to go all the way straight down for an accurate EMPTY reading on the gauge. The full mark will read correctly in any position obviously because it is floating to the top position. I used a Moeller Marine 4 to 28 inch long Universal sending unit also here on Amazon, and it worked perfect. The entire project took 1 hour and cost under $50.00 so now I have a gas gauge with a light in it and fits nicely in the dash of my Yamaha Rhino.

Great gauges!
I bought a new OceanLink fuel tank with sending unit for my boat and this gauge was plug-and-play. Works great and it's accurate!

Works great but order carefully
I installed this on a 95 maxum 2400 scr. Faria is OEM of those gauges.however, this unit does not flush mount as the old one did. was able to modify and install and does great, but isnt the same look as the rest.Just in case anyone is trying to replace gauges on a maxum

nice, clean, small. works well.
first, i chose this gauge because of the simple clean face and the size did eventually fit my off-design use. most others give you the fractions on the face which i perceive as extra clutter.second, it works perfectly in my off-subject application. i installed it in a new-ish riding mower that had no fuel level monitoring (while mowing i would have to stop, get up and open the hood to check the fuel level).note: for my application i did need to remove some of the back shroud (mounting bracket) and trim two of the built-in mounting connectors, but as i said i did not install this on a boat. the space i dealt with was crazy cramped.for my mower i used a new reed-type fuel sensor and the inaccuracies (indicates about 1/4 tank lower than actual) is due to fuel tank design.summary: a good small clean-looking gauge at a good price that you don't need your reading glasses to read.

Nice replacement gauge for my 25 year old boat
Had to replace the gas gauge after the sending unit failed and the gauge was reading 1/4 full with no resistance on it. Both were almost 25 years old. The gauge is made in the US and it fit right in the existing hole in the dash. The only reason that I didn't give it a perfect score was that I had to slightly file down the fiberglass dash so that the plastic mount on the back of the new gauge had clearance for a snug fit. The part of the dash that I filed is behind the gauge and will never be seen. It's nice to have a working gas gauge again.

I don’t think it’s the real Faria..
Something is weird… at full tank shows 1/2.. by the time when the tank has about 3/4 it shows more, close to full… so what now?My sender unit is new and works good with other gauge…

Made in USA!
You really don’t find many products like these made in the USA anymore. Good looking gauge that fit perfect. The one it replaced was from 2004 but the sticker on the gauge said 95, which was the same brand. The bezel on this one was just a hair smaller so I had to hold it center while I mounted it but it looos good and works great
