What kind of dye is used for the coloring? Is it nontoxic?

I have purchased this toy several times for my African Grey.. I am ASSUMING that the dye is vegetable based. I have never had any problems with the toy or its components. My Grey LOVES it and usually chews it apart in a very snort time! I reuse some of the toys to remake the next item for him to tear apart!

Is this good for a parrotlet ?

I have a sun conure and it works well. Use a small towel so they have a better grip in the water
