DAE AS130U-50P 1/2" Water Meter with Pulse Output, Measuring in Gallon + Couplings

i do a lot of drip irrigation and i need to monitor the water in gallons for infusing fertilizer. these are on the high pressure side going into screen filters and the fertilizer tank is just before the drip emitters. with this meter, i'm able to monitor the water that is going and make sure i'm putting down the right amount. i also use this to know how much water the dogs are getting. it keeps the water in the swimming pool from breaking the bank

Great basic water meter. I have purchase 4 of these so far, one of the 1/2" units, and three of the 3/4" meters, all of which are currently in use. As for the accuracy, I can only say that a quick test of one of the 3/4" units with a 5 gallon bucket was right on the money.I also use the pulse output, which is actually a reed-switch closure for every gallon of usage, to collect data on water usage over time. This also works as advertised.One slight complaint is that for very low flows, the meter does not account for all of the water usage. Trickle usage such as our evaporative cooler and reverse osmosis water filter do not get completely accounted for due to the minimum flow specification of this meter. Other than that, this meter is an excellent value for the price.

I purchased these to install for an apartment complex I own and was looking for something that I could read remotely from wherever I was in the world without bothering tenants every month to read a meter and found these. I was happy with the build quality and ease of installation, but i was even more happy with the customer support to get everything installed and up and running. I would highly recommend DAE and their meters to anyone looking to install cloud based meters.
