Oswego Pop-Up Collapsible Travel Camping Trash Garbage Can (Dark Green, 20 Gallon)

I got this to use in my barn and horse trailer. I have a problem keeping things like my riding gear free of dust and easy to move to and from the horse trailer for day trips. I wanted something collapsible so that I could squish it down to the size of what I actually put in it to save space. I can also tuck it away when I'm not using it. I'm going to use it to store other horse related items during the winter season to keep things dust free and out of my way. It's very sturdy looking, yet lightweight for carrying around. I can see that it would be very useful for a camper or for a road trip. It would work great for dirty laundry on a trip!

I have limited space and what initially attracted me to this trash can is that it’s collapsible. It worked great for a weekend camping trip. We also used it to collect trash for a beach birthday. I also used it today in my garden, hauling yard waste down three flights of stairs. As I get older, I appreciate well made, handy items that are lightweight and take up minimal space.

Once you start filling it up with trash it tips over. I had to tie it to a tree to keep it up right.

I looked at a lot of possibilities prior to selecting this pop-up, and I am very pleased with my selection. I chose it because it handles a 30 gal trash bag, but is tall and narrow and I was hoping it would accommodate a kitchen trash bag. It DOES! The springs are very strong, and the bag is sturdy. The kitchen trash bag stays in place by itself, but we may add clothespins or clips just in case. The top zips shut and there are looped button clasps to keep it collapsed when not in use—I prefer these to Velcro closures that collect lint and lose their grip. It also has well placed sturdy handles for transporting either full or collapsed. Overall, it is well designed and assembled. I highly recommend this pop-up!

Got this for a camping trip this week. I like the 21 gallon size which is only 16" in diameter. We usually don't need the large cans, they end up too big for us. So this size works perfectly for one day's worth at the camp site.

Outside of the basic gear, this is the single best upgrade to my camping setup. Previously just had a trash bag tied to a picnic table. The trash can makes longer camping trips much more organized and less cluttered at the campsite. I have also bought one for two family members because they didn't know what they were missing out on, and they love it too!

When I popped it open, I can see small holes through it. You can see it already starting to tear where the handles are sewn on. I can tell it will start tearing after minimal wear, The quality of the material is poor. Sent it back before I even used it.
