Decently priced for what you get. If you're an audiophile keep moving
I decided to abandon having a desktop stereo in favor of using open ear headphones and a headphone amplifier. It takes up less space on your desktop and the convenience of the volume knob is tough to beat. For a $70 unit the sound is good. However, for headphone amplifiers overall it's on the quieter and hiss-ier side. I recommend spending $200-300 for a better amplifier if your budget allows it. If this is the limit of your budget get this unit. I've never tested anything better in this price range.

Part of a mini system
For the price you really can't go wrong. I wanted something to go with a mini pre-amp I have and this worked just fine. I'm not an audiophile and I doubt one would look at this device but for me it works just fine.

Great and portable for those that live in hotel rooms on the road.
The E2 Op-Amp-Based Headphone Amp provides crystal clear audio with deep and punchy bass. The 600Ω impedance makes it suitable for high-end headphones and provides a powerful output, allowing me to enjoy my music at high volumes without any distortion or crackling. The compact and stylish design of the amplifier is perfect for both home and on-the-go use. The easy-to-use controls and smooth volume knob make adjusting the audio levels a breeze. The amplifier is also very lightweight and portable, making it ideal for traveling and on-the-go listening when one settles into their hotel room. I love that I can enjoy high-quality audio on the go without having to bring a bulky amplifier with me.Overall, I highly recommend the LVY 600Ω HiFi Headphone Amplifier for anyone looking for a powerful and compact amplifier for their high-end headphones. The audio quality is exceptional, and the design and portability make it a great option for those who love to listen to music on the go. I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and am happy to give it a five-star rating.

Seems fine to me. Drives my akg k702's
LVY 600Ω HiFi Headphone Amplifier E2 Op-Amp-Based Headphone Amp and Preamp High and Low Gain Switch, Balanced Stereo 6.35mm and Unbalanced Stereo RCACurrently my main headphone amp is a topping dx5. But that unit has trouble driving my akg k702's which is why i tho8ght i would try the E2 amp. It did pretty well, in hi-gain mode i can still stand it with the volume all the way up but i could actually turn it down some and it felt loud enough. With my other favorite headphones sony wh-1000xm4's the lower gain setting and a bit of a dip on the volume knob is needed. To my taste both headphones sounded great running my phone to the amp. Its a simple straightforward unit. And it only comes with a power cord. Seems like they should have thrown in a 1/8" stereo to rca cord. But alas they did not. The other thing i hate really is the on/ off switch is on the back of the unit. I dont understand this. But it does lend itself to a cleaner overall look.

For wired headphones.
Works ok but you have to use wired headphones.

Runs for a long
Runs for a long time without being charged. It doesn't have a bass boost switch. It's not USB-C.Silent device. After all, it's small and works well.It requires additional power.but I'm glad it exists.

I guess I expected…more?
Obviously, this device is made for wired headphones and I was saving a pair of Ultrasone’s for it when I ordered it. The Ultrasone’s had beautiful sound to begin with but they were definitely not living up to their full potential being driven solely by my iPad. This was my first headphone amp and maybe because I obsessively read and researched them, I expected a hugely significant difference in performance and sound quality. While there was a difference, it wasn’t nearly as profound as I was expecting and it seems like it took a lot of futzing and fiddling with what essentially feels like little more than a metal box with some adaptor ports in it. I have since lost both the headphone amp and the headphones (thank you, Hurricane Ian and your devastating storm surge!) but I’m still looking for the boom!

Switches are small
This headphone amplifier is a surprisingly delightful piece of musical equipment. I did not expect to get the kind of quality out of a headphone amplifier at this price. The amplifier is lightweight with good build quality and solid switching. You have dual size headphone jacks output on the front. It also has a nice smooth volume wheel which you can precisely dial in. It comes with a power cord for either USB or wall socket.I matched this hi-fi headphone amplifier with a lossless music source. These were large files with high definition audio as a source input. In addition I was using high-quality studio headphones. I had always been pleased with the set up with my headphone amplifier that runs for my computer interface. In any event with this set up I was amazed to hear the kind of clarity and separation of instrumentation. It was spacious and even at high volumes easy on the ears. The detail turns your favorite songs into a new experience. I would say the headphone amplifier is as good quality as I’ve seen in much more expensive units. I’ve been pleased with his headphones so far and expect to use it on a regular basis. My only concern would be the durability of the switches which are quite small and I could see how they would be prone to breaking. Outside of that the build quality is good.
