Great item for the price!
Only used it one day so far, but I can say at this point it's very easy to use. The manual was easy to follow and well written. It's very well built and the design/cosmetics are very nice. It's just pleasing to the eye, and I love the USB port where I can change the DC from 5V - 30V. I use my own USB cable with connectors that I can plug into bread boards and use on other projects, so I'm happy to have this item. Granted I have only used it for 1 day and very happy with it I do not expect (hopeful) any problems with this DC PS. I love the Cont.- OCV (continuous over-current protection) and its other features. Based on just a one-day experience I highly rate it as a very attractive and well working DC PS.

Works great and customer service is great
There was only one review for this item which made me a little hesitant but it had the features I liked and with the coupon it was the price point I wanted to stay at.I'm just a hobbiest and this is my first power source. This one doesn't have a separate power button for output, which would have made it perfect but it has some other features like the 5 volt limiting switch on the back and the two over current protection buttons. The claim of fine tuning is a little misleading, you push the voltage or amp button in to select the digit you want to change, much easier than trying to find a wandering value with a dial while it settles.I also like the memory feature, you can save 4 of them. It's the main reason I chose this particular model.I had a question about triggering the relays and was worried that I was going to damage the unit with my exuberant inexperience so I thought I would give the number on the pamphlet a call. Much to my surprise I got a real person right away that answered all my questions and went out of their way to be helpful. That's rare in this day and age.I'm retired and this all came about when I did some simple electrical repairs around the house. It peaked my interest in electronics so I got an Arduino kit. I've been spending more time setting up circuits on a breadboard to learn about different components, which has been fun and interesting in itself. I'll get around to the Arduino eventually, if I don't it doesn't matter. It's been challenging and sometimes frustrating but when I look at where I started I realize I'm learning so much. It beats sitting around watching the price is right.

Ease of use dialing in voltages
Having tried (3) different dial supplies off of amazon, most of them had the same problem, when adjusting voltage, it wandered so bad that I literally had to wait for it to settle before connecting anything due to overvoltage and not being stable, even after connecting sometimes it still happened. This unit is so incredibly easy to set, no wandering, NOTHING, you dial it in, set the amperage, and best of all you can lock this setting into one of the memory spots, ultra easy and ultra convenient. I use it to test mostly 12v car items to check wiring and such, but also smaller things, battery powered lights and such. So I just set the most used voltages into the memory buttons. No more wandering, no more waiting for voltage to stop and no more having to adjust every single time I change to an item I am testing often. This item also seems built well, its probably twice as heavy as each of the other supplies putting out the same voltage, but the other supplies supposedly put out twice the amps, yet this is about twice as heavy. The leads included are a bonus and seem more than heavy enough for continued use.

Great little bench supply, but with some annoyances
Being a linear supply, the voltages all measure great and are stable. The price and build quality of this unit are among the best in the price range. Two annoyances are the dial adjustment knobs are very sensitive which sometimes creates a challenge to dial in the right volts/amps. The other is the super loud beep when turning the output on and when over-current trips. I imagine its for safety.

PX-70 Updated Features!
Mine came with this desirable feature, not mentioned in the Amazon description: One of the "memory" buttons is now an Output on/off switch - not power on/off which already exists in the lower left of the front panel. "OFF" is displayed when the output is off - see photo. So my unit has 3 memories and Output on/off. BTW the memories are very convenient. Dial in your desired voltage and current, press and hold a memory button and the settings are memorized making them easy to recall with another tap of the button. I'm interested in how much RFI the unit emits, but have yet to test it. I rejected one of the popular switching mode supplies as they are prone to emit RFI and chose this linear supply for work with and around receivers - time will tell if this was a good choice!

Voltage surge when turning ON or OFF
I like the features and layout. I'd give it 5 stars if there weren't voltage surges when pressing the ON/OFF button. I've seen spikes of up to 10 volts, but the photo attached is a smaller one. I do not recommend for this reason.
