Great work book for self love. The tasks they ask are reasonable and don’t take too long. The first half of the book is more reading the second half is actual work but u don’t have to do it in order which I love.

I really felt the author did a phenomenal job itemizing each chapter. The book heavily focused on prioritizing our self-care self-love and how we view ourselves. The book had plenty of room to journal. I found journaling from this book. Very helpful. I also felt empowered after reading this book. I'm not always big on self-help or self-love books. But this one was very brief and concise. I would recommend this book for any black woman in search of encompassing self-love and self-worth

I am enjoying this workbook, the questions and introspection. One of the things I do before purchasing books (actually most everything I purchase on Amazon) is read the reviews. I often find them helpful and informative. As for the woman wondering where to find the version for white women, two words three if you count “the”CROWN ACT, to prohibit discrimination based on an individual's hair texture or hairstyle. The black experience my experience is different. So when's the last time a white woman required federal protection for her hairstyle? That is why in my opinion and for so many other reasons that there is a book dedicated to black women and our journey.Rated 4 versus 5 because I would’ve appreciated a spiral bind to support the workbook format and perhaps tabs. Still, very happy with my purchase.

I love this book. I use it with my clients in sessions and it is very beneficial for them. I even took my business photos while holding this book.
