Purchased this as a birthday gift to myself and I was very afraid it was going to be junk. Y'all I am so happy I got this. The box was heavy so I had to open it to carry it separately to where I needed, it was backed well with bubble wrap around every piece. It was very easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I did not need tools to put it together. It's so comfy and relaxing. I'm currently setting legs up in the chair and just enjoying the peacefulness of the outdoors. I love how the back of the chair goes up higher to support my head and I think it would support someone's head much bigger than me too. There is a nice size pocket in the material. The material is thick like canvas, it is a little scratchy but I think that will soften with time. After some time I do thing the rope will need to be replaced if it's left outside but that's the case with anything left outside. This is without a drought worth every penny I spent on it. I love this thing but I've always been fond of hammocks. I didn't have a spot to hang one so this is perfect, My deck is large but turning it into a chair makes it very convenient. It has all these holes so you can adjust the hammock depending on how taut or how high you want to sit/lay. If the chair has too much fabric behind you, you need to sit more in the middle of the fabric instead of on the edge...I like to use the extra fabric of the chair to shield me from the sun, draped over my head - almost like a hood. Love it! Waiting til Prime Day made it an even better gift for myself!! With the new tablet on the way, it's perfect stay home summer!! Could not be happier!!

decided to leave a review about this , i bought this last spring and today is the first warm day so I went out and switched it from a hammock to the swing chair and put it in the yard in the sun . This thing is absolutely amazing. I’ve had no problems with it. It’s fairly easy to switch back-and-forth, Sometimes I have a little trouble with the bottom button but I really think I need to just put a little oil on it ,but I love the hammock and if you’re a bigger person, let me tell you do not try to turn both of your feet to the side to get out of it , if you put one leg on each side of the hammock reach up and pull yourself up from the hook. It’s easier and safer to get out than trying to push yourself up from the side and falling. Once I figured out how to get in and out of it easier that made a world a difference. I have never owned a hammock or been in one since I was a child but I love this product. The swing has a little pocket on the seat so you can set your phone or stuff in it. But I will say a year later I absolutely love this product.Also I saw one review saying the hammock wasn’t comfortable but it is very comfortable. I did notice it could make my back a little sore but you’re also laying in a much different position than you ever are in a bed so it is moving your body different, but it is so comfortable. I could sleep in it if it was inside my house. lol

So this was easy to assemble, the hammock and hammock swing are both sturdy fabric and all the ropes and hooks and stuff seem durable. We really love the swing, it is exactly as expected and super comfortable. The hammock set-up, however, leave a bit to be desired. Like 2-3 feet of width on the stand, a bit. LOL! The stand just doesn’t get wide enough for this hammock, and as a hammock backpacker…I know it’s not wide enough for any comfortable hammock. That said, I actually really like to lay in it perpendicular instead of parallel. It’s like the hammock swing but a hammock swing recliner and is super comfy. If you lay in it the “right” way, parallel, you WILL be in a V shape.I am still buying another one, despite the not-hammock-hammock situation.

I was going to use it for camping. It’s easy to assemble but very durable. It’s worth the amount spent. Had to look back on the instructions from changing from chair to hammock. But it’s nice to be able to adjust.

The product is sturdy. The hammock smeeled terribe snd made me sick as soon as i opened it. I closed up thr hammock and aired out my house. I sent a message to the company and was sent back to Amazon. The seller made everything better. Even though I was initially made sick. The seller went above and beyond to correct the problem and for that I'm greatful. I definitely recommend them.

And let me tell you why… this hammock is HUGE! Double wide and extra extra long. I was in shock by how long this hammock stand was and rightfully so because the hammock is so long, your butt would touch the ground. The length is very inconvenient if you wanted to travel and bring it other places because it requires so much space.I thought paying this price would be cool because I got 2 hammocks for the price of wrong. But I was so wrong! This chair hammock is so uncomfortable and nothing like the girl in the picture they advertise. The back is so high, that you cannot sit above it with your neck… your neck will be forced to an uncomfortable forward position. There is no way around then unless you are extremely tiny and curl up or over 6 feet and can reach about it.Will be returning!

I did a LOT of looking around for a good hammock that came with a stand. When I saw this one also turned into a chair, I was sold! The description is perfect. It was simple to assemble, just click the poles together. The hooks on the stand can be moved so you can change the height and tightness of the hammock to your own preference. The hand weaving is great, and the fabric is breathable...great on a hot day. To turn the hammock into a chair, it's as easy as flipping poles around, and comes with a separate "chair" hammock that isn't as big. I ended up getting 2 of these. I highly recommend!

Very comfortable and well made, it was also very easy to assemble..Sad that the chain and support hooks are only bare steel- they are going to rust!

It's too small for my husband; he is 5'10" and 200 lbs.I am 5'1" and 120 lbs and works ok for me. If it was longer and wider, It would have been ok.So, if you are looking for one, look at the measurements of this one and look for something bigger.I do not recommend it.
