but I figured worst case scenario I would return if it was used ...
I was unsure about buying this because of the heavily discounted price, but I figured worst case scenario I would return if it was used or fake. I was very pleasantly surprised. The seller of the lighter I bought from was Uber prime and I would buy from them again. The item I purchased was the black lacquer palladium.

Received either a used or blemished product
Received the item today. International shipping meant shipping box in rough shape. Item box looked ok. But when I opened the box the item is clearly not right. There are smokish marks on one side of the lighter, so it looks like it’s silver on one side and burnt on the other side. See my picture. The lighter feels solid but looks defected. Contacted seller before putting any fuel in the lighter. Will update when I hear back. At this point will definitely not recommend buying as a gift.

You get what you paid !!!
I purchased this item/lighter for 370 (including expedited shipping and tax). It’s about 200-300 dollars less than the regular price. I was shocked when I received the item, lighter was scratched tarnished badly and hinge wasn’t lubricated anymore (like the pictures). It’s probably a display copy or stored in a very humid area. I was about to return the item. After polishing (scratch and tarnish removed) and adding lubricant on the hinge, I have decided to keep it. I have decied to update from 3 stars to 4 stars.

The best lighter
Love it. Don't know what else needs to be said. It's heavy, solid, and extraordinary to look at. Love that Dupont sound.

on the road cancel seller
Ordered four times from Amazon global uk. It keeps declaring “undeliverable” status and return to seller while on route. Took over a month and numerous calls to get the refund. One got to me. At least it is genuine and is in good condition.

Replace an order

Beware. Counterfeit
The box fell apart after opening and closing it three times, and the lighter does not have the Dupont signature cling. I bought a new one from a local authorized dealer and the quality of the box and the cling of the lighter are night and day. I have no doubt this is a fake.

take a chance
order 4 different ones, all from UK global. terrible. only one made it to me. they keep returning due to undeliverable status. refund takes forever. the one received is new and genuine luckily.
