Reading Detective® A1

So far so good. My son is on the autism spectrum and although he reads very well he has difficulty making inferences etc and always does poorly on standardized test. This is the first book I’ve found that passages that are interesting, of reasonable length and questions similar to what they ask on test like the FSA. The answers in the back of the book are very detailed so we can discuss what the question is asking and why the answer is wrong/correct without any guessing on my part. Definitely going to purchase more products from this company.

Helps my 5th grader with her reading homework. She is required to read and write sentances contains supporting evidence from the text.

...but I have found a few errors; make sure to check the answer keys as you review with the kids. It really helped my kids grasp the concept of citing evidence as the new common core curriculum requires. Great addition to my classroom.

Great book to increase kids comprehension skills and increase their attention to detail. Looking for evidence supporting their answer increases their attention to the detail in different situations.

Instead of having your child use a multiple choice and/or answering recall questions, this book trains your child to extract the information from the text. This book also helps your child to make inferences and use the text to provide evidence. I will absolutely purchase more books from this company and hope to use it with my students.

Really like this resource. It challenges my students which is always needed.

Very good

I use this to teach reading comprehension to my kids. It is very thorough and easy to grade,I have already identified areas to work on with my kids.
