Pretty good case for a desktop/HTPC-style build
I was looking for a PC case of a horizontal/desktop type to fit PC shelf in my home office desk, and came across this case. Key requirement for me (other than horizontal case style) was ultra-low noise level since this PC is right on the side of my work desk, any noise would be annoying and may be picked up by the speakerphone during calls. Previously I was using Dell mini-tower (lying horizontally on a side), but fan noise was noticeable, also I needed to upgrade that machine due to its age. This case works pretty well for my purposes - it is practically silent (when equipped with Noctua fans), it looks good, and it also has plenty of space for a regular-size motherboard with full-length graphics card etc. The case design is well thought-through - it provides excellent access to installed components and super-easy to open, at the same time the case is solid and there is absolutely no rattle. Venting design is excellent, with two 120mm fans inside front panel behind mesh, with space for three 120mm fans on sides and two 80mm fan slots at the back. Only two fans are installed (on the front panel) and I did not need to install any additional fans - cooling is already good enough. Factory supplied 120mm fans are OK, but with Noctua ultra-low noise fans you can make the case silent even under load. USB ports (including USB-C) on the front panel are helpful, and overall the case looks pretty good. Certainly would recommend.

Suited my needs perfectly
Great case offering plenty of hard drive space for a HTPC. Looks nice and was easy to work in.

Silverstone Technology Grandia 11
This is a very nice case for an HTPC. Well constructed, easy to access and assemble your PC and components. Adequate ventilation and the case fans are nearly silent, especially compared to the GPU fans.

Fantastic modern HTPC case! Fits 240mm NZXT Kraken and full size GPU
I bought this case a few months ago and it's FANTASTIC. Looks absolutely gorgeous in my rack and is such a massive upgrade from my 10+ year old nMedia HTPC case my old 5th gen intel system was built in. This case is great, it supports 240mm AIO, full size GPU, has surprising space for HDDs and looks and runs perfectly with i9 14900k and nzxt kraken AIO. my media PC has never looked and been this powerful in my whole life. I can play AAA demanding games, transcode media for plex server, run all of my server utilities (DNS, reverse proxy, etc), and it cools pretty much as well as my Corsair Vengeance i7500 gaming rig.

Good idea but could be even better.
I have been a long time HTPC enthusiast; Never before have PCs and TVs been more compatible than they are now. I have to say that I was excited when I saw this design. I tried to use the case as it was designed but on 4k games I was having overheating issues; To be fair I9s are known to have heat issues with a single 240mm radiator, even with good air flow. So, I decided to modify the case to hold a 360 mm and a 240mm radiator. This solved several problems: No longer overheats and by placing the 240mm radiator on the left side I was able to mount it high enough that I could clear the pins at the bottom of the motherboard and still be able to install 2 120mm fans. To get the clearance for the 360mm radiator I had to water cool the GPU; not a bad idea anyways for a higher end RTX, as they also run hot. I found with my setup that it ran cooler by using the 2 120 side fans as intake and the 2 rear 80mm fans as intake and using the 3 front 120mm fans as exhaust tweaking the fans in software to create a slight negative air pressure. Having bought many Silverstone HTPC cases over the years; I am a bit disappointed that there are no extras with this case, no remote start, no controller, and no way to install an internal optical drive. Problems that could easily be solved. (no need for a controller with today's motherboards) but having some kind of visual temp reference on the front would be nice as this case will collect dust over time and lose its cooling capacity and need to be cleaned. I used LED fans on the front then synced them to temperature, green for cool then yellow for warm, and red for hot...Have not seen them turn red yet! This just makes it easier to monitor temps without having to dig thru software. Also added a remote start and went with an external optical drive. Would like to see the next generation of this case to include a remote start, some kind of temp reference on the front, and if the case was an inch taller a slim profile optical drive could fit under the radiator where the logo is, an inch taller would also give clearance for the bottom motherboard pins. Also adding the third fan to the front is a must for today's hardware. Final thoughts: this HTPC case has a lot of potential, if someone is building this just for streaming then you would be better off buying an android box. But if you're wanting to take advantage of the latest gen TVS with vrr, fast refresh rates, fast input speeds, and clear text then this is a very good case for doing that.

A bit pricey for what you get / quality control
Received the case, unfortunately upon opening the box I noticed the case was boxed upside-down, I thought that was kind of weird. Taking the case out of the box with further inspection I noticed one of the fan filters was missing on the side. Also to note its been hard to tell from info and photos but on the side with the PSU Silverstone only includes 1 out of the 2 120mm side intake fan filters for that side, the other is a solid insert and for the cost of this case I believe the other filter should be included in the box. Anyways, the case was further missing all the accessories, it only had a few pre-installed stand offs but not enough for my ATX board and it was missing the third HDD cage that goes between the PSU and the top of the motherboard. Disappointed with Silverstones quality control as this was a failure at the packing / assembly warehouse with so many missing items. a missing filter, missing HDD cage, missing manual and no accessory box. I got all my parts just wanting on the replacement case and I'll update the review when I receive the replacement as I am excited to build in this. Update: I received my replacement case, first off some corrections on the previous information Silverstone does include the fan filter that I had mentioned above, it is included in the box so if you utilizing the intake next to the PSU you can have a fan filter or use the solid insert. However the second case I received had all the accessories I think......the missing HDD cage but... the front dual HDD cage was bent out of shape luckily I was able to just use the HDD cage from the previous case as I had yet send it back and made one good case. It's the quality control is the reason I'm leaving it at 3 stars. I've owned several Silverstone cases in the past there are high quality brand and I've never had any issues before this case. This case has easily removable fan filter from the outside, a nice appealing look, easy to work in cable management was a breeze I love the look it fits perfectly in my living room but that quality control right now is bad . I do like the case. I've build pc's my entire life so I'm familiar with the hardware and where things go but people that dont know or who may be new to building a pc the screws were all just loosely throwing in a zip bag together. No manual but they do have a PDF on their website I'm just saying for people that are new to building might be helpful to have at least some paperwork that tells them what screws go where.

Silver stone finally made a great HTPC case. It fits a large GPU as well
I have been messing around with HTPC before windows 2000. There is an option to run two 120mm fans pointed directly at the GPU with two 3.5 hard drives as well. Great fan options with a full size GPU makes this a great case to run in your media center. Easy to build in and would recommend 90 degree GPU 8 and 6 pin PCIE power adapters. It looks the part as well. Best looking HTPC I have used in 20+ years.

Great HTPC.
Great case. Looks good under the TV. Just wish it had a 3rd 120mm across the front instead of 2 fo some season. Easy to build in too.
