Our Conure Kevin is at times a finicky eater because he only wants our food which is kind of natural for parrots. He literally dove into the bag when I opened it on the counter and he was so impatient he just dove...lol Seems like a great product.

I had heard that Higgins was a good quality product, so when I visited the old-timey pet shop where I bought my first conure, I bought a bag of this food. I was impressed with the variety of seeds and other foods included in the mix. My birds enjoy this mix a few times a week in rotation with fresh fruits and vegetables, grains, cereals, dried fruits, sprouts, meats and cheeses, and whatever they can steal from the humans they live with. But it seems they really go crazy for this mix. I called Higgins for some help with remembering what mix I bought, since I transferred it to a sealed container and recycled the bag. The rep was very friendly and informative about the products and helped me navigate their website to find the product she suggested.

I really like this food for my conure. The mix of fruit, nuts, and varied seeds makes it pleasant smelling and interesting for him to eat.
