I really like this solar lantern. It has PVC clear panels not glass. It's the only one on Amazon I could find with the plastic panels. I've had other ones delivered from Amazon with broken glass. They say the glass is tempered, maybe so but the glass breaks easily. I don't want something that will shatter like that on my deck. Love this one. ❤️

I really like this lantern. It's bright, long lasting after the sun goes down, and hangs beautifully on a shepards hook. I will be ordering another one for our back patio. I love that there are three candles in the lantern as opposed to just one and the flickering is subtle so that it gives a more realistic look to the lantern.

The photos on this page made this particular model look as if it was barn red in color. It's actually more a copper with a dry brush effect to give it an antique look. That was my first disappointment. The quality was the second. The lantern looks nice from far away. The candles give off decent light and and even flicker, but close up, the fact that it's cheap plastic is obvious. I worry about water working its way in and shorting out the entire thing. Due to this, I'll probably hang it on my porch instead where it won't have to brave so much of the elements.
