I just received my kit and im a beginner. Is there a difference in the needles? Does it matter which one we use?

Felting needles come in different gauges. The gauge number refers to the diameter of the needle. The more barbs, the quicker the felting but less barbs will give you more accuracy with fine detail work. I go by feel as to how thick the area is that I am felting. Always poke on an angle, so you don’t break the needles. They are very fragile and be careful that you don’t poke yourself.
