Python Programming: A Smart Approach For Absolute Beginners (A Step-by-Step Guide With 8 Days Crash Course)

Exactly what you need to get started
This book was exactly what I needed to get started with Python. It was simple and to the point, and explained everything I needed to know about learning python. I started it and couldn’t put it down, finishing it in around 3 days. Everything works out and there are no errors. The only thing that could be improved was when it gets to object oriented programming in the end, if you have one indent error the code will not work as designed- it would have been nice if the author showed his actual indents in the code examples instead of adding the code and not explaining where the indents are. You have to find them yourself. But, after a little trial and error, I got it to work which is the essence of programming. A great book. I even applied to my first machine learning job using python, and I can’t wait to read more books from this author.

Needs proofreading
The author does not appear to know English; I cannot believe that anyone proofread it. It did introduce the material, but if the reader were not familiar with other languages, this would be a poor place to start learning.

Basically no useful information.
The back of the book proudly proclaims that it "has zero confusing concepts." Well, that's true enough. Page 84 out of 123 pages introduces the concept of a function, something so basic that it's remarkable they managed not to cover it in the first chapter. Additionally, the book has extremely generous line spacing and margins. It could have been printed on 50 pages.

so so
Not what I wanted, but B&N fixed that problem.

Absolute beginners ONLY. High level concepts but not for learning the language.
This is for someone who has never programmed - Not to learn python
