I bought these to use with the 1 qt. size Pyrex bowls. The bowls are 6” diameter and these stretchy little covers are perfect. They seal well and wash well.

Very thin

These are handy for covering dishes in the microwave to prevent spattering. Or, you can simply flop one over a potato or something you are reheating on a plate. I needed and ordered the 8 inch size. Unfortunately, they sent the 10 inch variety, which means I don't get a tight seal for storing food in the refrigerator and the overhanging edges are a nuisance. It didn't seem worth sending them back, since we mostly use them in the microwave and they still work there using the "flop" method. They are easy enough to clean by hand, so we haven't really tried them in the dishwasher, but I don't have any reason to think they would not be OK.

Finally, pet bowl covers that do the job! I have cats that take forever to eat their wet food, so have tried varying covers that just don't hold up. These are all same size so no throwaways and much stronger, thicker than others that have torn with tabs that don't last.

Not as stretchy as I had hoped, and very thin. But for what I use them for they are good enough. I recommend them for casual usage, but not heavy duty.
