Good flow rate, silent and easy to attach
Comes with a good size power cable (UK plug), the pump itself is silent when submersed, it attached to the side of the tank easily, was simple to adjust and just-worked. I have mine about 2/3rds of the way down in a 300 litre tank and angled up, the flow is not adjustable but it's enough to cause some surface disruption just from the flow coming out of the fan. f I had need of a second I'd definitely buy it again.

Pretty good
I got this as I just wanted a gentle flow around my 350ltr tank, (I had to return another make as it sent my fish spinning around the tank like tumbleweed, far to powerful) this one is doing a great job. Good suction and magnetic base holding it in place, very quiet and best of all my fish seem to like it

It's quiet and does the job
Compact and easy to install. It generates a slight humming noise however its quiet compared to what I was expecting. Sticks like glue to the tank wall due to the magnet which is great. Using it in my main community tank for added current and o2, due to having a group of sewellia loaches. Running an external canister and spray bar however felt that they would benefit from the added current. Must be good as all the fish are happy.. Not just the sewellia who have now had babies. I have had to cover it with a fine mesh to prevent a bloodbath as it's pretty open and a magnet for curious fish so that is my only negative. Would be better if there was a guard on there to prevent fish getting sucked in.

Mixed bag
With our tank being 240, I went for the M size. First thing was trying to install this - the cable really isn’t long enough and makes placing it really difficult. I ended up plugging it into an extension cable half way up the wall. The supplied magnetic pad really wasn’t strong enough for the tank - I probably could have read this better, but I really struggle to believe this would be any better with a 500l which probably has thicker glass. When I switched this on, the flow rate did increase massively, but as the flow is unadjustable I struggled to find a place in the tank which could be reached by the cable, held by the weak magnet, didn’t create too strong a current for some of the fish and without splashing water up at the light. With a few improvements this would be ideal, but as it stands it just doesn’t do what I need it to do. I went for this mainly due to the price as it was my first wavemaker, but I have now concluded I would have been better off with a unit that was adjustable in terms of flow etc (not to mention having a longer power cable!). Therefore I will wait for the new one and return this as it is not going to suit my needs.

Customer service
I had a wave maker from Hygger and whilst it was working I could not fault it for what was paid, lovely and quiet and on a 5ft tank it done the job perfectly, unfortunately it packed up working after 6 months so I emailed customer service and I have never had customer service so faultless and professional in dealing with the problem, nothing was to much trouble and all was resolved within a couple of emails 10/10 I wish more companies treated the customer like Hygger have treated me.

NOISY!!!
*updated review - two weeks in and it's making a horrible noise, tried cleaning etc won't stop so downgraded to one stars as not good at all I cannot leave it on making this noise in my office. Ioriginally ordered an all pond solutions wave maker but it was SUPER loud. This is great it's quiet and stays in place I have the larger one on a 5foot 400l tank and it gives enough flow to move debris into the filter, give the fish somethjng to play in and airates the water... And makes the plants roots stronger! Essential for any aquarium I would say!

Completely Silent
Absolutely over the moon with this little wave maker. I wanted something small for surface agitation and not intrusive in my 370lt tank. This is perfect and completely silent which I wasn't expecting after reading the other reviews but the one I received is. Power cable only just reached my under cabinet sockets which could be an issue on bigger tanks but definitely not on smaller tanks that it is intended for.
