This wrap is strong and really hard to get off. My dog did not try to chew it so I can't say if that part worked but the sticking power of this is great.

Whether you use this to keep a pet from licking a wound or wrap it around things you don't want critters chewing on, it does the job of protecting whatever you wrap it on. I am very pleased it works so well. It's self sticking so no extra tape or wrapping is required.

I bought this because I thought it was sticky tape that I would be able to tape to baseboards, etc., which is not. When I did try to use it on other things that it would stick to my dog was like a moth to a flame and did in fact chew it.

This product worked well on 2 out of 3 dogs which we have had to bandage. It didn’t slow down one of our dogs from getting his dressing off so we had to resort to putting duck tape over this.

This is good quality tape and wraps well. It discourages my dog from chewing but she will remove the dressing if the wound drains. I think the key is to clean the wound well and change the dressing often. If there is an odor (even if we can't smell it) I think most dogs will get it off. Having said all that every dog is different and the only way to know for sure is to try it with your dog. Also important - you onlyvneed to stretch tape a little if at all to keep wrap in place. If you stretch it to much it will impede circulation.
