Nice vent: works well. Tough getting the filters in, but you can do it. The only issue I had was getting the blue film off. It appears that the device was put together in parts covered with the blue film, making it difficult to remove all of the blue film between the cracks. Also, it took a lot of time to remove the blue film from the vent covers (where the filters go). This was very frustrating to me. With that said, once removed, there were very little scratches on the device. The end product looks very nice. NOTE: This unit came with a power cord (3 feet short plug attached), making it easy to connect without having to wire in a separate electrical cable.

This was a great buy. It's a very solid built product. I really like the push buttunes.Because I feel like like they will last. The stainless really looks great. Although.The protective film takes a little patience to get off. It is totally worth the effort, though because the stainless steel was perfect. Very easy to mount and is very sturdy. It even comes with the flexible vent hose that I connected to my outside ducting. I would definitely recommend this product.

Perfect for our little project ,very powerful

Unit looks good but protective blue film covered all the major components. The unit appeared to be assembled without regard to the blue film so it trapped between the gaps between the steel forms and even under rivets. It is frustrating and virtually impossible to remove all the film at the seams. It leaves ragged, ugly plastic everywhere that can’t be removed. I have had to spend several hours removing this film and sliced my fingers open and there are still ragged sections of blue plastic stuck all over the unit

First one was dented probably by shipping so I had to order replacement. I got it installed no problem. Works great. I had a previous hood from nutone with a stack already in place so I had to build out about 4 inches to get it lined up with the previous stack. I then used a portion of the flexible stack and used a large hose clamp the make the connection to my old stack. I have tested it and it works great. Sure beats my smoke detector from goung off while frying.

The hood vent was easy to install. The light is not as bright as I thought it would be. I will have to install some small push button lights on the vent in order to have enough light over the top of my range. The fan runs very quietly the look and design of the fan complement my kitchen. I would’ve given the vent five stars if the light was bigger and brighter.
