B - Passion Fruit - 10.4 oz - Chocolate Coated Gourmet Licorice - Authentic Scandinavian Candy Produced in Denmark

The journey your taste buts go on is quite exuberant! It begins with a smooth outer coating, this is where you encounter a subtle taste of passion fruit. Then, you take a light crunch, penetrate said layer. The shell with the passion fruit “candy” layer chips away, revealing a salty licorice nugget. It’s a high quality licorice what can I say. Try for yourself, not your typical candy.

I was so skeptical, b/c a) I thought I didn't like passion fruit; and, b) it just sounded like a super weird flavor combo. BUT, these are freaking AMAZING!!! Each ingredient ...chocolate, passion fruit and black licorice all reveal themselves when you let them unfold by not chomping right down on them. The candy coated shell adds a crunchy texture (think Cadbury robin eggs outershell). The chocolate is creamy and luscious. Then you hit the tart passion fruit flavor which is surprisingly (@ least to me) beautiful with the chocolate. Then...if you've been restrained and not chomped right through this treat, the chewy, slightly salty black licorice appears with another hint of the fresh, tart passion fruit flavor. It is truly a sophisticated and complicated taste experience, not to be missed

The Passionfruit and Peach are really delicious! The Raspberry is good. The Mango Vanilla is surprisingly just OK. It's more vanilla than Mango. I don't even know if I can say I tasted Mango. But it's still okay! But the good ones are the passionfruit and Peach. Delicious! But then again, I love black licorice flavors!

I really appreciated the speed at which this company replied to me about a little problem with the order. The product, itself, is really tasty.

Lakrids seal was already open when it arrived. There also isn’t an option to return it for a replacement so that’s upsetting…

Sweet and great

If you like licorice and passion fruit taste, this is for you. Chump down on the passion fruit goodness, then reach the solid center of licorice. I was introduced to it in northern Germany. I wondered if it would be available in the U. S. Lo and behold, it could be purchased through Amazon. It is a bit expensive, but so it was in Germany. But it is worth it.

Delicious as all their sweets are. Needs better container. I was intending it as a gift but several pieces were cracked and broken so at the last minute had to buy something else.

So I was very curious about this confectionery, as on paper, passion fruit, white chocolate and liquorice should not work, plus I was slightly put off by the price. That said, I took a leap of faith, and what do you know, it’s entirely delicious! Trying to ration my consumption as we speak, so I know I’ll be buying it again, dammit. A veritable taste sensation.
