Great face guard, I had bought one a few months back when I started sparring. It was great, hard to get on & off, the bar smashed my nose so it was uncomfortable wearing. I Bought a pair of the lace up boxing gloves "Amazing" and the consider get face protector that matched. World of difference, I went six rounds and it never felt so tight it hurt, but didn't move around either. Two straps in the back make putting on or taking off so easy. It doesn't obstruct your vision, yet protective. And you look like a Champ wearing matching gear. Of course I had to order matching groin protector too. All three are absolutely 💯 perfect. And the prices are very reasonable.

The material is solid and strong. Great product.

This is the second Rival headgear I buy for my son. Previously, I bought their 'top of the line professional headgear', and that one was just OK--heavy, clumsy, and the inside was made of some material that would soak in sweat and smell atrocious after a while. This model corrected all of the old model's issues. It is light, made of leather on the inside, so it is easy to maintain and keep fresh. It stays snug on the head and protects well. I only have a small issue with the under the chin strap: it is made of leather with a metal buckle, unlike my Winning headgear, which is easy to adjust and has a simple plastic lock mechanism, but it costs three times as much. So, my verdict, this is a very good deal for the money.
