Is this a good size to make wash clothes?

This is a great loom for wash cloths. In double knit, it will make a 6 x 6" size-great for babies and face wash. For a larger size, I would work around the loom in single knit and get a 12 X 12" cloth.

How far apart are the pegs from each other?

From center of one peg to center of the next peg is 7/16".
