The definitive reference manual on Cisco's Nexus 9000 EVPN offering
This is an outstanding reference manual on several topics; including VxLAN, EVPN, and multi-fabric/multi-pod/multi-site data center interconnection. While this book focuses on Cisco's Nexus 9000 product offering of the aforementioned technologies, it still makes for an excellent reference manual for both VxLAN and EVPN. Other company solutions (Arista and Juniper) will differ by using "standards only" solutions, but Cisco uses 95% open standards with a little "secret sauce" for their OTV and multisite extension. This book should be a must-read for all CCIE oriented data center network architects with Nexus 9000 products running NXOS.

Good book in practice but not enough for configuration
Not a good book for a starter. It as full of detailed theory and practice. However, it does not have enough command line for either configuration and T shoot.

Great practical book. Very practical and hands on
This book is NOT an ACI book, but does cover how VXLAN applies to an ACI environment. This book is mainly a CLI-based VXLAN book providing many configuration examples for the Nexus NX-OS AND IOS-XE variants. Definitely recommended!
