Perfect for those of us deliberately looking for a non-rechargeable unit
This is sort of a niche product that I was searching for among all the other portable floodlights out there and is a rare find. I know most people want rechargeable units with a built-in battery, but the advantage of a nonrechargeable unit is that when the battery runs out of juice you can just swap power packs, and when the battery eventually gets old and doesn't hold a charge, you don't have to throw the whole thing away. Also if you have several gadgets, its a lot more convenient to power them all off of a single power pack instead of having to charge a dozen things separately. This fits the bill. Too bad there isn't more of a demand for this type of unit.

Just buy it. You won't be disappointed.
Husband loves this light for grilling when it gets dark and uses it for other things. Nice and bright. Lightweight. Quality product.

Bright, but soft light
It wasn't clear in the add that separate batteries/power banks would be needed (I guess I should have known from the price); but that apart they are exactly as described, and function very well.

Two arrived broken *Update*
Arrived broken. This is the second one I ordered. The first one arrived in one piece minus the carrying bag. The button on the carrying strap was broken right out of the box. Not a big deal because the light still worked fine.*UPDATE*The company reached out to me after reading my review. They were very friendly and apologetic about what happened. Items were damaged in shipping and not any fault of their own. They promptly sent me a new light which arrived in perfect condition. This second light I ordered is completely broken. It came in a Amazon box. The Amazon box was fine but the original box the item was packaged in was destroyed. One end of the box was ripped open. I cant understand how Amazon employess wont check a product when the original box is torn open. The light is completely snapped off from the pole. Beyond fixable. I am two for two on ordering these damaged already.

not what I expected
this light is not bright at all, everything about it is cheap, I guess that's why it was not expensive, it needs to be a re-chargeable light which I thought it was i just didn't read enough on the description. I'll still use it at camp with my power bank. ya get what you pay for. I don't recommend this product.

Good Value, Good Performance
Plugged into an EcoFlow Delta2 for power while camping. Provided a good amount of camp site light. Not too bright to attract every insect within miles, but enough light to see your way around without tripping. The tripod is pretty light duty but it held up fine during my four night trip.

Great...when it works.
I bought this mid-October for the weekend BBQs our family would have. We used it twice which did a good job of illuminating the grilling area, but didn't use it through November. By the first week of December we had a fish fry and when we tried to turn on the light, it wouldn't. We tried different methods of connection but still nothing. So great when it works but longevity is not so good.
