GREAT PICKUPS FOR THE PRICE. QUALITY..
I bought these pickups to replace the cheap ceramic pickups on my made in China fender Squier Strat guitar. I was able to use my white pickup covers because they have the import spacing. Very happy with the overall tones, and the quality of the pickups. These are not cheap by any means. I purchased the staggered set. And they had cloth wiring. Very happy with my purchase! Going to buy another set to have on hand for a future project.

These are solid pickups
I have a good size collection of guitars and did not want to pay another $250+ for a complete set of Seymour Duncan or Dimarzio pickups. As a result, I decided to give the Fleor Single Coil Alnico 5 Strat pickups a try. The pickups came in a padded Amazon bag and were wrapped in tin foil inside the Fleor packaging. The pickups were clearly labeled, wax potted with fiber plate bobbin, had cloth connection wire, and looked like higher end pickups. The neck and middle pickup measured between 6-7k and the bridge pickup measured between 7-8k as spec'd. After wiring the pickups, I plugged in to see what I was working with and to my surprise they sounded really good. Good volume, well voiced and not too thin. The 2 and 4 position sounded great and balanced but not as jangly or quaky as some strats when the middle pickup is not RWRP like these are. The 2 and 4 position is definitely hum cancelling but I didn't find the pickups to be overly noisy per say. The bridge pickup sounds great clean and great when playing into a distorted/overdriven amp. I was expecting that I might have to change the bridge pickup but after hearing it, I think I am going to leave everything as is. I don't know if I will ever buy one of those pricey name brand pickups again. I am very happy with my purchase.

Good but attracts environment noise
I am only using the neck & middle pickups as my guitar has a humbucker at the bridge. These pickups sound good, less hollow sounding than the ceramic stock pickups. But these pickups attract more area noise. That’s not a huge problem as I plan on shielding this guitar the next time I restring it. I love the 4th position (neck & middle), sounds great both clean & distorted

Great for the price
As described. Easy installation. Each pickup marked with position to install. Colored wires go to the selector switch. They sound much better than the standard Squier Strat pickups. I had to lower the bass side and raise the treble side to get the output volume even across the strings. These are standard sized pickups and won’t fit in a Squier Strat standard pick guard. I had one laying around and installed the pickups and stock electronics. I didn’t expect the color combination to look so good!! Only issue is that the neck pickup position of the standard US/MIM pick guards is closer to the neck. The recess in the body is not far enough forward and causes the pickup to be skewed. You can kinda see it in the second picture. There was no issue with the smaller POTS staying in place with the new pick guard (it has larger holes).

Pretty darn good
I bought a Fleor alnico 2 humbucker set previously and absolutely love those pups so I wanted some for my strat. Seems like only Seymour makes alnico 2 flat single coils. $300, no thank you. Fleor has alnico 3 but they're staggered pole pieces. So I went with these. When I first tried them I was disappointed because they didn't have the same mojo that the humbuckers did right off the bat. I kept trying them out and started fiddling with everything. Lowering the pickup height and rolling off the volume and tone knobs got me close to where I wanted. So I'm really liking these pickups now. I think they're keepers unless I find inexpensive alnico 2 or 3 flat single coil pups. There's a certain responsiveness or something to these pups that make them sound very musical. I had lace sensors on previously. They sound fine tonewise but just seem stiff and lifeless if that makes any sense. Compressed I guess, is how I've heard them described by others. These Fleors seem to respond well to nuanced playing/picking, vibrato and bending. The cons: like the humbuckers, the bass can be a little muddy, maybe that's an alnico thing, I don't know. Not a con but the treble on the bridge seemed a bit high/harsh for me but I have a tone control on the bridge and rolling off the tone fixed that. Or an eq pedal will do the trick so it's no biggie. Better than having a dull pickup that you can't correct for.

Just as good as Fender or Seymour
I bought these as an upgrade to my Squier Strat and I’m absolutely blown away. I have a start with USA 57/62 pickups, as well as a 1981 Strat with original pickups. These Fleors are just as good. Both in terms of build quality and sound. The sound on these are a little more compressed when you hit them hard, probably more like Fender’s Tex Mex pickups. They pair nicely with Fleor’s JB copy. These are my first set of Fleors and I will find it hard to justify buying more expensive pickups moving forward.

These pups are LEGIT.
If you have a knockoff strat these are great. I can’t compare them to MIM or even high end stuff as I am typically a humbucker guy. I installed them in an Ibanez stagestar that im modding out. These pickups really helped. I’m super impressed with the value for the price. Highly Recommend.

Ok… but just…
Tone is not bad, a little thin. Pickup covers not standard. I mean not 48, 50, or 52mm pole spacing. So, I could not change the color if I wanted. Disappointed. (If they are going to copy a classic, then at least make it interchangeable…) Sad.

Bought these to replace the neck and middle pickups on a Donner Versa Sonic that are noisy and muddy sounding. Install was easy, lots of wire to work with and these do what they said they would. No humming and very responsive. I am very pleased. The cream colour matches the guitar nicely, took a few minutes using a half round file to enlarge the openings enough for these to fit, but it worked out nicely. I usually use Wilkinson at twice the price, but these are just as good and they were on sale to boot..... very nice.

I recently installed these pickups in a lower-end guitar, and I have to say, I am very surprised by how good they sound! guitar itself was already a great player, but the stock pickups were definitely lacking. After upgrading, the tonal improvement was immediately noticeable. For the price, these pickups offer exceptional value. The clarity and warmth they bring to the instrument are far beyond what you'd expect from something in this price range. If you're looking to breathe new life into a budget guitar, I highly recommend giving these pickups a try. They're a fantastic upgrade without breaking the bank!
