Excellent Product!
Great product. Lightweight (useful for travel) but does the job. Particularly like the rubber-like bands at the top and bottom on the back providing gripping power on window glass Very much like the material resistant to moisture, the covered zipper enclosure for refilling and the straps, although it would be really good if the side straps were longer to wear like a knapsack.. Also like the color- neutral enough so that it doesn't scare away wildlife or birds. Pricey but well made.

Not too heavy, works well.
The use of buckwheat really helps in the weight category. My only wish is that the two sides could be separated, either by a velcro strip or zipper. There are instances where only one of the two is sufficient.

Open seam
Bag arrived with an open seam. Appears to have not been sewn for about 1cm which allowed the beads to leak out all over. Getting a replacement. Hope that one is better.

Nice Product
OK If your traveling you might want to take the buckwheat because I ordered the PVC pellets and oops it weighs 5lbs. I ordered some buckwheat to fill it and it is light as a feather so that is only thing - it looks well made It is for a upcoming safari as a tripod wont work in a vehicle

The perfect safari companion
I ordered this (filled with poly beads) right before I went on safari in Tanzania. We would be spending two weeks traveling around by jeep and after reading up on this vs. other pillows I decided to give this one a try. Yes, this version is heavy, however after trying to brace my largest lens (a 600mm) on a foam pellet filled pillow I found this one gave more stability. Where you gain the ability to strap a lighter pillow to the back of your gear bag you lose stability and I found my hand/arm/camera shifting when I didn't want it to. This version (with plastic pellets) was perfect. I would cinch up the straps on the side and toss it up on the upper edge of the open top jeep. It formed to the edge of the windows so I could rest my hand and brace the camera. Also, when I needed a small tripod on top of the Jeep I would cinch it into a triangle shape and brace the camera on top, using it as a pivot. I packed it in my checked luggage for my flights and it added some weight, but since i was packing light anyway it wasn't an issue. It really was exactly what I needed for my trip.

Photo stabilizing bag
Nice idea but a bit bulky. Only for the serious photographers with a lot of patience.

It works, but it's messy.
I used this on the ground while lying on a shooting mat. When I wasn't shooting I pulled the sack and my camera onto the mat. It was a windy day, so the mat would blow partially over the camera. I didn't notice at first, but buckwheat particles were leaking out, and with the mat blowing the particles ended up all over my camera. If I had known, I would have opted for the heavier one if it's less likely to leak. I also wish this was maybe a 1/2 higher so that my neck wasn't so uncomfortable. while lying down.
