Get it! Mark it up!
Very helpful. Especially on logic games and question types. This paired with the LSATMax sample course is making the test way more easy to understand and tackle. I feel more confident in my study plan thanks to this text!

Easy to follow and gives great tips
I am considering taking the LSAT and wanted a book that explained the test and had practice tests. Easy to follow and gives great tips! I loved it and would say that if you're not looking to spend a million dollars on prep material then this is it!

This should be the first material used
If you feel lost or discouraged, this is the book for you. This book gives you a foundation of what the LSAT is about. By the time you start taking pre test from the original LSAT page, you will have and idea of how to handle those Kind of questions. This book breaks information down for you.Hint.......I set my alarm for 30 minutes every day and read a few pages in those 30 minutes. I could not believe how fast I went through the book when I thought I was never going to finished it.

Great easy to use supplement.
Easy to read, great LSAT tips. Some info is out of date (regarding testing options). It can be used as a great reference in conjunction with other study materials. It does break info down into an easy to understand format

My only regret is that I should've bought this book ...
My only regret is that I should've bought this book sooner. It was more helpful for me than was the logic game bible book that I paid quite a bit for.... Very understandable. Very relatable. Very helpful.

Don't get it on e-reader if you can help it.
I strongly recommend NOT getting this book for an e-reader. It's almost useless in that format (I'm not sure if this review applies only to that or also physical copies so I'm not rating it lower). The logic puzzle portions are terrible on an e-reader- they're tiny, stretch across way to many pages, and you obviously can't scribble on them. It's not the fault of the book but a huge limitation of the medium... just get a physical copy.Additionally- and this is a critique of the writing itself- it sometimes bounces around unhelpfully between different problem sets and uses an example from pages ago when it should just have followed directly.

the facts about how the score breaks down and can be maximized made me feel better going into the test
This book probably did more for me than any of the other books I used. At the very least, the facts about how the score breaks down and can be maximized made me feel better going into the test. That counts for a lot. It also includes tips and guides for the entire LSAC-backed application and admissions process.

Best Basic LSAT Book Out There
It’s a great starter for learning how the LSAT works, along with the law school basics that you need to know. However, this shouldn’t be used for your studies, BUT it is an amazing first book to read to familiarize yourself with LSATs and how everything works.

Not as dry as other books but gets to the point
good book. I lack motivation to go further with it. But yeah, if any consolation it made me not want to be a lawyer right now.

Useful.
Pretty useful and explains the concepts well. But this has to paired with other LSAT prep books as it isn't self sufficient in my opinion. Great price!

Touches the surface but will not give you a perfect LSAT score. Beware.
They don't go into enough detail to rely on this book for the LSAT. If this is the only book you prepare with, beware. Your LSAT score will reflect on the fact this book skims over important sections that need to be taught in more detail.
