I love this book as it systematically guides you from start to finish on using ACT processes . I loved all the metaphors that were used and the experiential exercises. This is my go to when working with young learners. I highly recommend it.

I found this book very helpful for me as a therapist. It is concise and clear. As an ACT therapist who works with children, it is exactly what I felt was needed. I find that the Kidflex is a great way to convey the Hexaflex concepts to children.Tamar Black created a language that is suitable for kids and included great ideas for activities and exercises for both children and parents. Moreover, I feel that the ACT stance is implemented within the book itself - Highly recommended!

This one is easy to read and has many activities to use to teach the ACT processes. It gives you a way to get started with children, worksheets, and a chapter for how to work with parents if the child is not ready to work with you. I highly recommend this book!

I used the traditional ACT for adults, but with kids, I found it not the same. This book is kind of the "ACT made simple" (from Harris) for kids. very practical and insightful.

As a MFT turned BCBA, I purchased this text to improve my clinical skills in using ACT with ABA. I haven't finished the text yet, but I'm already hooked. This is an easy to read and follow manual for any clinicians from all different backgrounds. I'm excited to expand professionally with this text!
