Linear Multi-Code Keypad Transmitter (420001)

The directions that came with the unit, where easy to follow & worked well. I used this on my old Stanley garage door opener.

The first one arrived and it would not turn on they replaced it almost immediately. The new one arrived and timed out while I was programming it so I thought it was broken but I gave it a second try today and it’s working great!

I received my controller two days earlier than expected. Programming was so simple. I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to replace a coded gate opener.

Excellent OEM equipment. NOT an aftermarket "compatible" item. This is easy to program right from the keypad. No dip switches to manually flip to match whatever your base unit radio code in garage is physically set at. You just key that dip switch setting right into this remote through the keypad. Much easier to use than other compatible replacements that are a little cheaper. Ease of use and programming is worth the little extra cost.

I have an old keypad on my garage that I could not get to work. So after several attempts to try and program the old one I order the Multi-Code 420001 and it works great. Not only was it easy to hook up (I used two faced tape not screws) the programming was really easy and now it works like a charm. Plus it is wireless so you can put it somewhere out of view but has to be at least 15 feet from unit. Highly recommend.

Purchased this product in 2007 to control existing Garage Door Opener.Allows access to house (through attached garage) for children and others if they forget (or instead carrying) their keys.Has worked trouble free for over 2 years now.Only thing i wish was that it allowed more than one code.. or a "temporary" code so we could give out the code to dog sitters, etc when on vacation..You can give the code out for access to such people.. but since there is only one code, you have to change the code when you get back.. (And family must re-learn when you do..)If it had a "temporary" code, you could just give that one out.. and re-program the temporary code without the family having to learn a new one.That being said.. re-programing the code takes less than 2 minutes.. even if you only do it once a year.Good product. Good Value. 4 star (5 if it had had multiple codes)

The buttons are rubber and get stuck when pressing. Difficult to successfully enter all digits of a code without stuck buttons causing you to have to start from beginning.

This is an original OEM replacement. Not an aftermarket item. Received it , installed the battery included, reprogrammed the 2 settings and mounted it. All within about 10 minutes and the door was fully operational again. Well worth buying the original over a knock off.

It works fine, but I had to install a cable to the transmitter-antenna by the motor and place that cable close to the door. The signal was not strong enough before I did that.
