These were cheap but worked well. They are easy to attach to either window or frame with clear circular sticky tack. I'd advise cutting slightly larger than you measure. There was a tape measure in the pack. They kept the sunlight out well and helped keep the room cooler. Obviously you need to put the light on to see. You can take them down if you don't need them any more. Cheap enough if they don't work out as you planned.

Having an autistic child whose very dependent on routine, sometimes for example in the summer it’s very hard for him to differentiate from early morning when the sun rises from 4am and morning as for him as soon as he sees light outside it’s time to wake up mummy and daddy :) But he started to get tired during the day and as a result he would be upset sometimes or would always want to sleep and so we had to figure out something as soon as possible. After just browsing and being curious i stumbled across this but at first i thought that’s never going to work. But just like any other product i went straight down to the reviews and so i went ahead and bought it. The Black out Blind comes in a bag and inside you will find the double transparent sticky glue (which are very strong) and also included is a little measuring tape (great shout) and shockingly it’s rather large and would cover large areas. You will have to measure and cut to size so make sure you have a sharp pair of scissors. Once you cut it to size you can then use the sticky double sided tape to stick the blind to you’re window. You can either just cut for the inside glass or cover the whole window but that will take up a lot more. The one thing i would recommend doing is to use some kind of velcro tape at the bottom so that you can fold it up in the morning. The tape is more of a permanent fix and it’s a bit hard to get off the blind once it’s on so something like (command) is perfect. This blind has really made a difference in my little boys life. So i really recommend this. Overall this product is great if you can it properly and cover the area properly and you should be okay and it’s very good. *Pictures were taken on a bright afternoon.

I can’t usually be bothered to write reviews on here, but this portable blackout blind has been brilliant for taking on holiday. So light and folds up really small, fits neatly into the carry bag it comes in, so great for popping in your suitcase. The material blocks out the light very well, and it comes with a sheet of round clear sticky pads to attach the blind to the window. They are pretty strong and held the material in place securely, they stick to the glass or window frame, and when we took them off at the end of the week it was easy, no sticky glue marks left behind either. Now using the blind again at home temporarily, as it’s got really hot and sunny and it’s helping block the sun and heat from the bedroom during the day. We have a massive 60’s style upvc bedroom window with full sun all day, the 3m size blind was a perfect fit, and it’s doing a great job of keeping the sun and heat out during this mini heat wave. When the usual weather returns I’ll just fold it up, pop it in the carry bag and store it in the cupboard til next summer probably. Going to buy another one for our daughter’s room too!

This worked perfectly for blacking out a window without a blind on when we had friends with kids come to stay. It was super easy to use and was literally up and on the window within 5 minutes. My only gripe is the sticky pads are very sticky and difficult to get back off of the window. The room was completely black though and it’s great that they can be cut to size too.

We took this temporary blackout blind on holiday to use in our youngest's bedroom. Was super and kept the room dark, able to cut to the exact measurement we needed using the handing measuring tape provided and sticky pads lasted the entire holiday, didn't need to replace and were easily removed each morning. Would definitely purchase again.

The material is brilliant as very easy to cut to size. The main negative is the stickers that come with it. You’d expect Velcro ones so the material can be put up for the night and removed during the day but it only comes with permanent stickers that make it difficult to remove. I ended up spending more on Velcro ones. That being said if you want this to stay up permanently then the stickers are fantastic as super sticky!

Purchased 2 of these, to cover up my home cinema room windows temporarily while im waiting 3 months for my shutter blinds to arrive, this did the perfect job of covering up the whole window. They stuck to the windows with provided adhesive pads, which I guess would only be one time use and that is the only negative as I can't use them anywhere else after. They blocked out all light, but you have to remember that still you will get light leaking through the sides of the curtains as you can't put the sticky pads all the way around. But its just minimal light and for my purpose its fine for now. All in all a great product, was easy to cut and install, they also provide a tape measure so you can cut to measure the curtains.

Ive now bought a couple of these as I have lots of very big windows in my apartment, as I dont intend to stay in the apartment for a great number more years I didn't see the point in investing in expensive black out blinds or curtains. This is a cheap and simple solution, now my bedroom is completely dark at night. Both my partner and I sleep so much better now, a little bit ugly but does the job for a reasonable price, so I really cant complain!

It is a good product and I used to remove the light from the bedroom because living in Sweden we have a lot of light during summer. Now is totally black! It works BUT I used the Velcro all around the edge and I didn't use the adhesives in the kit. So I put 4 start on five just because they should give a better solution to fix the blind all around the edge. The material is good, totally black, easy to cut. Happy.

In Kombination mit Spiegelfolie bei sehr großen Fenstern bleibt die Hitze draussen und der Raum ist Dunkel, also kein durchscheinen und angenehm von der Temperatur. Danke.

Das Produkt ist an Dachfenstern angebracht worden und die Klebepads halten super und das Material ist auch okay. Klar, könnte das Material etwas dicker sein, die Frage ist jedoch dann ob’s auch in einer Decken Montage hält. Verglichen mit dem Konkurrenzprodukt, dass ich Zusätzlich gekauft habe, sind diese Klebepads besser. Es hält auch Temperaturen von 35 -36° im Raum aus. Links auf dem Foto sieht man das Konkurrenzprodukt mit unterschiedlichen Anderen Klebepads. Die Materialien der Folie scheinen grundsätzlich sehr, sehr ähnlich zu sein. Update: Hält immer noch super! Dieses Produkt bleibt für mich die erste Wahl ggü anderen Produkten.

Vom Prinzip her recht simpel, nur leider meiner Meinung zu wenig Klebepads dabei, außerdem lässt es sich wenn es einmal dran ist nicht so einfach wieder ab machen, zumindest nicht so das man es mit den Pads nochmal verwenden könnte. Abdunkeln tut es wirklich sehr gut, aber es erhitzt trotzdem auch den Raum ganz schön, hatte mir es etwas anders vorgestellt.
