Is she is a 7-7.5 M US Then a size 7 should be best, because this shoe stretches about a half size. If she is more of a 7.5-8 M US Then a size 8 would fit best, but might become sloppy over a length of time. Everyone is between 2 sizes like this.

b(m) stands for medium width of the shoe. For example if the shoe says 6 b(m) US that means it it size 6 regular(medium) width if it were to say 6 c(d) that would mean the shoe is a size 6 with a larger width . These are for women and the m is medium. I wear an 8 or 8 1/2. I ordered an 8 and they fit perfect. They are super comfortable and warm. I now have a 2nd pair.

Do they run big or small ???

I wear women’s size 10, bought size 10 Ugg’s and they fit perfectly *without socks*. I never wear socks with Ugg’s but if you might, Id go up a size.
